This book is designed so a deeper understanding and appreciation of infrared by the general public as well as by the experienced photographer is achieved. As a so called coffee table book it serves the dual purposes of simultaneously referencing both fine art and infrared black and white photography.: While some books on infrared are available they dwell on instruction and utilize a do it yourself approach for those interested in learning and shooting. On the other hand, this is designed to be appreciated solely for its content. Nature Photography is the opening theme followed by photos with structures both old and contemporary. The final section of the book contains photos with people some of which could be considered Street Photography. The viewer will enjoy viewing the different subjects as well as the unique characteristics of infrared photography.
