Ashwin Sanghi reveals a surefire way to improve your life with The 13 Steps to Bloody Good Luck.

    Summary of the Book

Life isn’t always easy. There are people who seem to drive through it with hard work and talent. There are others who just fall by the wayside. Then there are those who seem to find luck wherever they go. They seem to have some mysterious way of attracting luck, empowering them in all that they do. But is it possible to attract luck? Is there some way of training ourselves to become lucky? In this book, Ashwin Sanghi reveals that luck isn’t a fickle mistress always on the run. She’s well within reach, if you know where to look. He brings together several anecdotes and narratives incorporating personal experiences and vignettes which show readers how to tap into this mysterious fountain of luck. He gives readers a brand new image of what it means to be lucky and shows them how to become successful by finding luck no matter what they do. If luck has seemed to be in short supply in your life, this is the book for you!

This is so so read !

After reading lots of good reviews on flipkart I decided to buy the book but it has failed to reach my expectations.
I expected this book to be of solid concepts of luck with some scientific backing but all it does is give anecdotes without telling how to apply in real life situations.
This book is good for those who's new to self-help but for regular readers it's not worth.Everybody knows what attitude they need to change to improve but what they really need is application.
    I would suggest ...

    Inspirational book

I have never been exposed to literary works from Ashwin Sanghi before. I got this one as a free gift when I ordered a book of Lee Child. Being Indian in nature , a free gift always attracts you. The title attracted me to start reading it before the one I actually wanted to read (The book I ordered).
Ashwin Sanghi has been very detailed in this work of his. He has penned down how people should be successful. He has actually been able to coinage in a very well fashion the things to be done to ...

Book Review : 13 Steps to bloody good luck. Ashwin Sanghi

    Good luck and 13 ?

Triskaideaphobia – the fear of number 13, is rampant in hotel rooms, in aeroplane flight seatings, in the quest for ‘auspicious days’ and in Friday the 13th.

Ashwin Sanghi deliberately flaunts ‘13 rules’ as a thumbs down for superstition. He re-defines luck from ‘chance’ to ‘choice’ and from ‘destiny’ to ‘definitely achievable’, from ‘trial and error’ to ‘trainable’ and from ‘probable’ to ‘practical’.

Genre: Non-Fiction. 13 stepsto bloody good luck

    Pros: Sanghi quotes ...

Why I didn't think of it before

Catchy title indeed. Almost everyone can do with a bit of good luck and the author is laughing all the way to the bank encashing on this tendency. An easy read with easily digestible anecdotes and examples the author has cleverly packed some good ol' common sense drawing from a vast repertoire of successful people in their respective fields.
