21 is the crtically acclaimed sophomore album from British singer-songwriter Adele. It's the follow up to Adele's critically acclaimed, Grammy award winning debut album 19 (both named after her age at the time the songs were written). Recorded in Malibu and London, 21 offered Adele the opportunity to work with such luminary producers and songwriters as Rick Rubin, Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Dan Wilson and Fraser T. Smith, as well as continuing to work with Francis Eg White and Jim Abbiss.
About the Artist:
Adele is a Grammy-awarded British singer born as Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, on May 5, 1988 in North London. She herself describes her music as something meant for heartbroken people. She is the very first artist awarded with the Critics' Choice in the 2007 BRIT Awards, which is given to performers who have not yet launched an album during the time of the award-giving ceremony.
As early as age four, Adele had the love for music. She even sang Spice Girls hits and impersonated them during dinner parties. There were also times during her pre-teen years wherein she impersonated Destiny's Child. In May of the year 2006, Adele graduated from Croydon's BRIT school, which was also attended by artists such as Leona Lewis, Kate Nash, Amy Winehouse, etc. A month after her graduation, Adele published a couple of her songs on PlatformsMagazine.com and eventually started participating in small gigs in the UK. She also joined a tour with Jack Penate (her bestfriend), and other performers like Amos Lee, the Exist band, etc.
Adele has won 6 Grammy Awards (2012) for:

I guess there's nothing much to say about Adele since she has a very good voice and also composes some classic songs. The whole album is a good listen.
Flipkart was very quick in delivering the CD to me and sent it to me within a day.Wishing to do more business with filpkart in the near future and thanks for the quick delivery.
I gave been following Adele's progress in the music business with grueling patience and attention. Ever since 21 came out, I have probably been the happiest person around me.
Adele's 21 is the perfect album..and I can go to the extent of saying that 21 is perhaps the perfect break up album. I sought out her music when I was in a sort of a rubbish relationship myself and her voice, lyrics and the sound of the piano helped me recover like nothing else did. The emotion in her songs touches you even more when you're in a similar place where she's coming from, I guess.
Nonetheless, the songs are pitch perfect, rich on tonality, beautifully composed and orchestrated and with a voice like Adele's..you can naught but pray to dislike her. The best part about this album is that she croons every note with feeling and honesty. And nothing sounds better than honest singing.
You won't ever regret buying Adele's "21". A must buy and immediate listen!
My daughter, all of 5years old, quietly sits in a corner lost in her world and ears all perked up listening to Adele's Turning Tables. And she is a highly restless kiddo. This album does that to people.
The album has some very beautiful and soulful songs, most of them tugging at your heart and bringing in despair, making you feel the pain in the songs and thats what connects people to Adele.
Wonderfully written, beautifully composed and richly delivered.
I wish the producers include the lyrics in the CD. Doesnt take much effort and creates double the impact.
Flipkart was perfect in executing the order. Kudos!
I am a classic rocker and professional guiatar player who is influenced by rock and roll from the 70's and 80's and hence I dont speak for the new generation. Adele is popular and she has a great voice and except for two tracks the rest of the tunes dont strike a chord. Nothing to remember. Audio engineering sucks. I dont know what the sound engineer and producer were thinking when they were desining sound for this album. I have a state of the art Jamo system and this CD frankly sounded crap in audio quality. Bear in mind its the sound engineering I am talking about. I dont know what makes the national academy of recording arts and science (Grammy panel) tick on this album, but in my opinion is not worth a second listen. I purchased it as part of a music study I am doing for my original work and understand some recording techniques. I am not a fan of Adele music and hence I dont listen into the lyrics and their meanings a lot. The album may be good peotry I do no understand.
Brilliant and best album so far in the world but after 'THRILLER' album from MJ. The song ROLLING IN DEEP , SOMEONE LIKE YOU & SET FIRE TO THE RAIN are so soulful. I mean no words to say. Adele is the genius after all. She broke all records in the previous year, holding most number of Grammy's last year. She is on her way to kiss the stars.. Rather she is the shinning star of music world. Just dont think and read the reviews, go and buy it. Previously I downloaded it, but it would be unfair and injustice to her work.
