3 Lives, in search of bliss is an inspirational fable of a New York city cab driver who, upon his unfortunate and sudden death, finds himself being offered three chances at redemption and finding happiness. The book is about the 3 lives he leads, the choices he makes in those lives and attainment of eternal wisdom and bliss.
After his death, Ray is offered three lives, each designed out of his choices, to find happiness. What starts as a journey towards wealth, health and knowledge turns into a discovery of eternal wisdom, and ultimately leads to bliss.
Exotic, evocative and haunting, the tale of Ray Cordoza’s three lives will make you ponder the choices that you make in your own life towards the pursuit of happiness.
The book is a celebration of the beauty of this wonderful universe and our lives as human beings. It falls into the genre of spiritual fiction - a format in which a fictional narrative is interlaced with philosophical and spiritual concepts. It could also (easily) be categorized as inspirational, self-help and motivational, depending on the perspective of the reader.
3 Lives is a product of inspired passion which aims to present eastern and western spiritual concepts in a manner that demonstrates the one-ness of everything in this world that we find ourselves in. That we all share the same fears, desires and aspirations. And, that we all have the same questions. That we share, at a fundamentally spiritual level, a deep and abiding desire to find and hold onto happiness.
Whether you're looking to be inspired or to comprehend the seemingly incomprehensible pain and disappointments that come our way in life, this short novella is bound to leave a deep and lasting impression on you. Happy journeys!

A gem of a book !Friendship comes in many forms. I stumbled upon Srini Chandra on Twitter. I haven't spoken to him or met him in person. It is not often that someone comes up with a stunner like "3 Lives". What a debut! It is said first impression is the best impression - the cover of the book is stunning. As regards the content, I must say it is on par with "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse. many many years ago when was I was young, I stumbled upon "Siddhartha" in a dusty corner of a lending library. It was a turning point in my life. That book left a deep impact on me. Now, several years later, destiny has thrown… (Expand)

Bliss in paperbackHow do you express an opinion, without being opinionated? How do you talk of morals without being moralistic? How can you discuss philosophy without being doctrinaire? 3 Lives does that, by tracing the journey of a soul across different lives, different epochs, different civilizations. In a style that is direct and simple, the narrative stirs the deepest cords that connect us all. Must read... and re-read.

All is wellWhen I started reading the book, it drew me in effortlessly. I finished reading the book in one go, from start to finish, in a couple of hours. It is an excellent read, and left me with a sense of "all is well" at the end of it. The book does a great job of taking on the big questions without taking sides. Questions like - What is happiness? How do I find it? Why is life unfair? etc. I especially liked the portions where the author brings out the struggle between science and spirituality. Is logic superior to emotion? Can atheists be happy? To some one in the middle like me, in the no man's la… (Expand)

Lucid Philosophical treatise on a fictional canvasPerhaps this is one of the rarest attempts of an author, that too in his maiden venture, to beautifully blend seamlessly, Eastern Philosophy and Western Thought, and that on a fictional canvas. No where one finds traces of Hindu Philosophy and the author most successfully achieves, avoiding the inescapable pitfalls of imposing such thoughts on the hapless readers. This bold attempt portrays the evolution of the human soul almost akin to Darwinian Evolution of the Species. Flipkart is niggardly in tying my hands to award only an insignificant and meagre 5 stars for this wonderful philosophical t… (Expand)

3Lives,in search of bliss by Srini ChandraRay Cordoza's evolution through the three lives is beautifully told in this book with sustaining interest throughout.Hatred to become love may take a split second or an eternity.Likewise, awakening of a soul. The essential message I got from this book is that "life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced".How true are these words. The author says whom it will touch,he may not know.It has touched me.Let go.Take control. If one wants happiness,it is in the giving up of chase.Everyone is headed towards haapiness. It is inevitable. The question is 'how many lives it takes'.
