This is one of the earlier DVDs from Jillian Michael. It has three different workouts namely, level 1 2 and 3. Each workout has three circuits. Jillian combines strength, Cardio and Abs workout to enable the body to get maximum workout in minimum amount of time.
The workouts are progressively supposed to get tougher. But personally, I found level 2 workout the most difficult to do, at least in the beginning.
Level 3 exercises mostly focus on abs and core.
Level 1 is a good and refreshing exercises series. Jillian guides you through nicely through the routines. The idea is encourage the first time exercisers who are short on both time and willingness. But once you start seeing the results of these exercises, you are hooked.
It is the best use of twenty five odd minutes of your spare time.
For advance users, the levels can be combined if you are ready for it. e.g. you can do level 1 and 3, or 1 and 2, or just 2 and 3. Its upto you to challenge yourself and take your fitness level one notch up.
The only drawback that I found was that the cool Down time is way too short in my opinion. A proper cool down and stretching not only maximise exercise benefit but also minimise fatigue and injury risk.
Highly recommended for both beginners and intermediate users.
If I were to choose the top 3 workout Dvds from my collection of 50 plus Dvds " 30 Day Shred " would be one of them. True to its name you will be shred in just a month. Effective exercises,varied levels, knowledgeable trainer & proper guidance and motivation to push you constantly, the dvd contains it all.
The only drawback is the shortest cool down ever given in a workout video. Compensate that with your own version. Nevertheless one of the best workout Dvds.
This workout is excellent since it combines both strength and cardio moves.
The moves are challenging and there are different levels available - so it works for both beginners and advanced folks.
Excellent for those who are looking for serious inch loss.
Its three 27 minute workouts are compact, time saving and effective. Jillian constantly motivates to perform better throughout the workout. Suitable for beginners as well as for the advanced. Cardio and weight sections are crisp and not too tiring.
