Summary of the Book

Langdon and Jamie are poles apart. He is the most popular and sought after boy in school, while Jamie is the daughter of the town’s Baptist Minister, which tells us all that we need to know about her. It had never crossed Langdon’s mind to ask Jamie out, but somehow they manage to be partners for the school dance. This leads to Langdon getting to know Jamie better in the months that follow. He learns of things that he has never known from her: the happiness that comes from giving, the pain of losing a loved one and the most crucial of the all, love itself.
