Underworld, a sequel to Abandon, is the second novel in the Abandon trilogy by Meg Cabot.
Summary of the Book
Seventeen-year-old Pierce is not dead yet. She is in a space between heaven and hell, as the lord of the Underworld, John Hayden, has taken her. Although he claims it is for Pierce’s own safety, it might as well be for his own reasons of wanting to keep her close. But Pierce finds out that the people she loves on earth are not really as safe as she is, and wants to go back. But will John release her? Will Pierce be able to save someone in her family from danger?
