I was going to buy this monitor becoz of 144Hz and gsync. But your review makes me surprised and cautious . I had again checked it on every major US PC hardware sites like newegg, microcenter etc. they all are saying it supports GSYNC. but some of the sites are showing the model no. as XB240H ABPR. Best 1080p 144Hz budget monitor!!
This monitor doesn't have very good build quality but as long as you're not moving it around too often, it'll be fine. Also, it has all sorts of movements and connectivity options that you'd expect from a gaming monitor, so you're good in that department as well. All in all a good product. If you're expecting g-sync, it doesn't have it (it says so in the product name). A lot of people gave it a bad review because of this point only (ignorant people).

Superb Monitor
Just received this monitor thanks to Flipkart for such perfect delivery.
Superb monitor in all ways. Doesn't have GSync, but who cares when its offers everything else at such a steal price.

Does NOT have G-Sync and Lightboost
The one that I received (XB240H bmjdpr batch:July 2015) does not have G-Sync. Even this does not have the NVidia LightBoost support which is very much required for an enjoyable 3D experience. The ones which have G-Sync and LightBoost have the G-Sync and LightBoost logo clearly on the factory packaging and on the sticker on the panel which was not in my case. This is not a G-sync Acer XB240H Monitor & Reply to KULJIT
I got this last week and still trying to return it due to it is not a G-sync monitor. The first reason that I bought this monitor is only because this has G-sync but this one has not and they are saying it is new. So no one has the description for it -_- No G-sync with same model number what genius move to cheat people :'( I wasted my 22K only because I am an Indian -_- New Indian model :'(
