Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830T Laptop 2nd Gen Core i3/2GB/500GB/Win7 HB/128MB Graphics (LX.RGP01.007)  (13.86 inch, Blue Aluminium, 2.17 kg)

Been using this for a few weeks now, and here's my two cents:
First of all, this baby comes with a USB 3.0 port in its left side. It's mentioned all over the web in reviews, but Flipkart hadnt listed it, so this came as a pleasant surprise.

Pros: Good design, hoping the build quality exceeds the (usually poor) reviews of acer products

USB 3.0 x 1, USB 2.0 x 2

Sound is excellent in Win7, but not very awesome in linux (an improved driver would help)

Absolutely no overheating, the lappie st...

It's pretty good.The price is also same as in showrooms.Small,slim and nice colour.I has got dolby home theater which is good again.

Customer care is also good,with in 3 weeks from my date of purchase,one of the speaker was not working.And the person from ACER came to my place the very day ,i lodged the complaint via phone,and got it repaired.

Only thing is it's hardware is not that strong as others(i mean plastic outfit).

nice battery back up but given the cost factor you should try acer tm 4740 if you are okay with 4 hours battery back up, consider a change of hard disk and backup costing you around 8k before you buy it.
