Good buy, it's awesome
+ Nice laptop from Acer in reasonable price.
Battery backup is good 4 hrs.
+ 1TB HDD, 4 GB RAM, DVD drive add value for money.
+ AMD A4 quad core processor is sufficient for daily multitasking.
+ No heating, silent fan.
- You need to install OS seperately, as included Linux is not useful.
- Getting win7 driver was difficult.

good entry level notebook for browsing and movies(only)
better than the N2950 and the N3700 / N3450 intel chipsets wrt processor and better than intel hd 4x00 series in graphics.
I hate windows 8/10 and no drivers for windows 7. Use acer website drivers only, don't download from amd.
1080p, 720p x264 runs smooth with minimal cpu use (10%). HEVC uses cpu(upto 1080p). Don't try 4k, haha. You won't get 4k output from the hdmi port so no point decoding it either.
I bought this after frying my old 2011 pentium dual core and i slightly better perf...
