Way better than HP G6-2005AX
Well first of all i must say this is a great laptop and total value for money and runs games such as batman arkham asylum and arkham city,crysis 2,just cause 2,COD Modern Warfare 3,COD Black OPS,Assasins Creed brotherhood and Revelations with ease

Acer vs HP
4 stars: just because compared to HP, i think this is slightly overpriced.
Acer has this laptop for 36761 and hp has the same system (HP Pavilion G6-2005AX) for 33390. the only differences being:
1. 1gb graphics vs 2gb graphics (with the same GPU). Trust me. 1GB and 2GB won't really make a difference as long as the GPU is the same.
2. Freebie Coolerpad vs Dirt3. You can decide which is a better freebie on your own.
3. 2xusb3.0 vs 1xusb3.0. clearly two 3.0 ports are better than one. total no. ...

I will definitely go for this mode instead of HP G6-2005AX.
1.First of all acer promised 6 hours backup and I think it will stay without power at least for 4 hours and I never trusted power support with HP with my last experience.
2.You also get Gigabyte ethernet in this model which is not available in HP G6-2005AX.
3.Also this model pretty slim and attractive and weight is on 2.6 kg which is almost a Kg less than G6-2005AX.
Its true that 1 more gb of memory wont make any diff with cur...

Got it about 3 days ago from Flipkart, over the HP Pavillion G6-2005AX. I love it! Pros:
2.5GB Graphics (take that, NVIDIA GeForce GT630M!!)
Quad-core processor (though I'd like a higher processing speed)
Windows 8 Upgrade Offer (common in all Win7 laptops)
Keyboard has the numeric keypad, but keys are still place nicely.
Laptop looks bigger than it is. More portable than it looks :P
Battery gives 4 hours of gaming and upto 7 hours of downloading!
Cons:
AMD CPU's don't support Mac OS X

Good laptop for a fair a price
I recieved my laptop 2 days ago and my experience with it so far has been quite amazing, the graphics cards are crossfire enabled, so that was i can play high end games such as Skyrim on high to ultra with a stable fps.
After recieveing the laptop i upgraded it to professional with an upgrade key i had and it was much faster, so it is recommended that you upgrade it, also the quad core processor is great for multitasking, the battery life is fair, with minimum brightness im getting around 5-1...

Most of the reviews were written when g6 was priced at 33.5k and acer was priced at 36.5k. At this Price g6 was better choice but later flipkart modified prices and both were fixed in 34-35K range. At this price Obviously Acer was should be the one to go because of it cutting features.

2. its design is outstanding. its looks more gorgeous then pictures.
3. performance is very very good as in this price range.
4. graphics are really good thanks to ATi crossfire.

If your a computer geek/expert considering this laptop, just have a look at the HP G6-2010AX :) You'll immediately forget about this one :)
For just 500/- more (35k, after 1000 bucks instant cashback), you'll get a full 1TB HDD, 2GB more RAM and a slightly lighter laptop!! Only no windows installed, but who cares anyway.
Also the 2GB graphics memory on this Acer is a big joke, because we all know that at low screen resolutions like this laptop's 1366x768, 1GB itself is more than enough! 2GB...

it has 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz.
This is the only laptop i have seen with 2.5GB of dedicated graphics at this price point..
