Acer Aspire V3-571G Laptop (2nd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Win7 HB/ 2GB Graph) (NX.RZLSI.003)

its been over 6 months i was lookin for the best machine within 40k ... and finally i came to this baby...
got this from a local store, the one with 1gb 630m, for 40k ...
now to the review-

pros-

looks-
pretty good lookin, and has a great keyboard, very comfy to type on, chiclet obviously... but d body is glossy thruout, so attracts fingerprints... but looks great, and wen kept clean, its like a mirror :D :P
its pretty sleek too, not what u expect from a beast with this config ...

display-
15.6 hd led backlit lcd wit great viewing angles and great colours ...

audio-
the audio quality on speakers is pretty decent, v.v.good quality, not very loud, but loud enough ...
connect a good set of headphones and be ready to b blown out of ur mind with its dolby home theater ... simply spectacular, it is THE BEST audio u'll ever hear anywhere thus makin ur media experience heavens better ...

power-
like any windows machine, takes a bit of a time to start up and settle in, but once the i5 is in its groove, there's simply no stopping it ... apps are blazing fast at 2.5ghz base speed, let alone at 3.1 ...
the nvidia 630m is as fabulous as anything out there, and shuld run almost all the games out there without an issue ...
i have just playd nfs-the run, and the graphics feel too good to be true, without any lag, max settings ...

the body seems quiet sturdy, though havent put it down ever :P

and something minor but worth mentioning, the webcam is HD as compared to the vga ones u normally get, so its really good too ...

cons-
doesnt really have any, but then some ppl may whine about the hdd bein 5400rpm and not 7200 ... but i really dint find one with a 7200 hdd .

the nvidia 630m heats up like an oven wen u play graphics intensive games ... but dont worry or run to buy a coolin pad, just keep a book or somethin below it and it works like a charm since it gets heated cz the exhaust air doesnt have enough aeration.
but thats the case with all laptops.
normal usage, no heating at all ...
those r all d cons i could come up with...

battery life is quite good, works 3 hours straight while i code, so dats pretty good ...

conclusion- a great lookin, great performin lap for just the right price ...

i prefer u ppl get the ones with 1gb graphics since u'll b saving quite some money ...
besides, for the ones who dont knw, d higher midrange g.cards (like 630m) almost never use more than 1gb of their dedicated graphics memory since their architecture doesnt allow them ...
actually no laptop g.card uses the dedicated 2gb unless ofcourse u're talkin bout hardcore gamin laps like the alienware or the asus one which have high end cards but cost upwards of 1 lac...
so dont get fooled by the "GBs" of the card, it doesnt make a diffrnce, but the quality of the card and processor matter a lot ...
eg. those who think the 2gb nvid 520m is a great gaming lap are mistaken . it wont even perform half as well as a 1gb 630m .

Qualities of wife :

1) even if she gets hot she still knows to keep her cool
2) is simple looking from outside, but from inside...mann she will blow ur mind !!!
3) she can do every thing under the sun, even though you expect less from her....she has those qualities
4) her voice is firm but at the same time she is great to listen to
5) her service is excellent and readily available.
6) she does'nt ask for additional packages every now ad then
7) she is fabulously light, even though you expect her to be heavy
8) her speed and ease of handling is extraordnary
9) when idle, you feel good to touch and caress her
10) all this and you dont feel pinched in terms of value
11) the brand she represents is defiantely not local
12) she even has a number pad !!!... i thought i would never get this when I saw her pic !!
13) her camera is the best in class !!!
14) she handles cd/dvd without making a huge noise about it
16) she gets instantly charges and gives great back up... an answer for those who ask " kitna deti hai?? "

Now all those girlfiriends who promise a lot, seduce us with looks, ample features, without ever delivering it i real.... pls check this homely diva!!!!..... she has got it all to please you, tempt you, but still be loyal without being too demanding and light on your pocket....hope you get the idea !!!

I havent bought this one yet, but i used it in a local market while selecting my laptop.
I was confused between this and the ASUS K35SM-SX010D

And for whatever the half or 1 hour I used this notebook, i was quite impressed with it.
The sound quality was totally awesome, screen was bright and great, visible from quite angles as well.
Processing was being done effortlessly, didnt get a chance to do gaming, but since it has a GT630M, it WILL NOT be of any concerns.. :D
So you should go with it, the only reason i am hesitating is that it has a 500GB HDD while ASUS has a 750GB.
Also you can get this model int he market for 40000INR but with 1GB GT630M (Which pretty sufficient for any game currently in the market)
