Awesome tablet at Awesome price
I have been using this tablet for the past one month and it has been too damn good. the internal memory says 8gb (6 gb user space = 5 gb internal sd + 1 gb ROM) and it supports calss 10 microsd. screen is very good. Decent graphics(plays Eternal warriors 2(349mb game) with out any lag ).touch is just heavenly and the look just rocks.

1) 169 ppi touch screen is too good to be true at this price range

Great tab.Total value for money. incredible features for the price its offered for.
Anybody who wants a tablet for basic use, like internet surfing, playing games, watching movies, listening to songs, etc. , this is the tab to go for. Its much better than opting for an Iball or a Micromax, or even an HCL for that matter. Yes, If you have the budget of 12-15k, then might as well go for the Samsung tabs.

3G Dongle..
I have been using this tablet tethered to the data connection of my 3G phone.. Works like a charm. Android phones have the facility to act as mobile hot-spots. Connect the Tablet to the Android hot-spot and it is ready to go.. Works fine with both 2G & 3G connectivity.

Good product............Value for Money @this price range.
Bad thing about this deal was I got the ACER cover worth Rs 2500 but is of no use. Today the professionals need a leather lock type cover. An open type flap cover is good for Mobiles. The weight of a tablet does not justify a carriage with open type flap cover these days. If Flipkart can anyhow change this deal, would be a better one.

Better than rivals at this price point!!
This tablet for sure is low in specs but thats all we can expect at this price point.
Except resolution, all other areas seems to be good. I am not a gaming guy so 512MB RAM is fine for me. Only front cam is there for video calling that too VGA so not much of use.
Wifi connectivity is good and works gr8 with my modem. No disconnection, no speed issues.
Overall, if u need a cheaper tablet for internet browsing, youtube, mails etc but still wanna go for branded one, nothing can beat this.

The Acer Iconia B1 is not the best performing tablet in the market, but is the best available in this price range.
I had very high expectations for the first "low-budget" tablet from a brand manufacturer. And Acer does not let us down. I bought this Tablet when it shipping for Rs.7999 (standalone, without the cover). Even at a price of Rs.8999, that is an attractive buy, as it ships with a faux leather cover.
