Book: Advanced Engineering Mathematics (8th Ed.) This Student Solutions Manual that is designed to accompany Kreyszig's Advanced Engineering Mathematics, 8h edition provides students with detailed solutions to odd-numbered exercises from the text. Thoroughly updated and streamlined to reflect new developments in the field, the ninth edition of this bestselling text features modern engineering applications and the uses of technology. Kreyszig introduces engineers and computer scientists to advanced math topics as they relate to practical problems. The material is arranged into seven independent parts: ODE; Linear Algebra, Vector Calculus; Fourier Analysis and Partial Differential Equations; Complex Analysis; Numerical methods; Optimization, graphs; and Probability and Statistics.

Review of problems Review by Satya kumar misra, babunumisra@yahoo.co.inRespected Sir,
1) Whether the meaning of this Nonhomogeneous heat equation i.e. problem no 14 , of the chapter 11.5 (Advanced Engineering Mathematics (8th Ed.) ) is that we have to show that the problem reduced to a homogeneous heat equation only by using u(0,t)=0 and u(L,t)=0 and setting u(x,t)= v(x,t) w(x) or also by using the conditions are given for v(x,t). This creates a confussion for this problem
2) In solving the problem no 18 ( b), of the chapter 11.5 (Advanced Engineering Mathematics (8th Ed.) ) that on steady state heat flow is found that the problem gets a trivial solution like u(x,y)=0 , but I found your solution manual has different answer.
