  • Description

Rishi Piparaiya’s Aisle Be Damned is a tongue-in-cheek humour book that will make flying a lot more bearable. The book is filled with numerous tips and hilarious anecdotes on everything associated with air travel, from flirting with flight attendants to micro managing pilots to breezing through customs and immigration.

    Summary of the Book

Learn the art of flying, though not quite at the pilot’s seat. This book takes readers to the passenger section, where problems abound. Learn how to strike up a conversation with attractive co-passengers, how to keep the flight attendants continually at your service, get seamlessly upgraded to business class, and if not, how to cope with the 'walk of shame' to the economy section. This book is written in a light vein, and is sure to make readers want to fly again and again.

    Read it in one go

Well, I bought this book at the airport before a domestic flight and thought I'd give it a read. It had been over 2 years since I last read a book. I was surprised to find that the book consumed me in the first go. By the time I landed in Delhi, the book was almost over.

Its a simple, witty and fun book to read. The author's style is fresh and relatable. If you're looking to read the fun aspects of flying and change your perspective forever, this is a must buy.

    The Seinfeld guide to flying!

This is truly a book that is in the Seinfeld class - a book about flying experiences that absolutely everyone can relate to ; written with an insightful and very humurous eye for detail.

I picked up the book and found myself unable to put it down. It is the kind of book that you read over and over - sometimes just for a quick 10minute pick-me-up. The anecdotes are hilarious.

I'd recommend this book to anyone with a sense of humour! It is not a heavy book and doesn't pretend to give advice....

    Sauve, hilarious and light hearted

Rishi Piparaiya has truly outdone himself and has shown himself to be a master of satire. He has shown great care and acute observational skills in picking the most annoying and embarrassing of things that happen in one's day to day exchange with the airport and it's queer inhabitants and projected them in a hilarious and thoroughly entertaining way. He has given an whole new outlook to the things that happen in and out of an airplane. Seriously who would have thought that my missing jacket w...

    Witty, fun!

It's not a novel. It's just a collection of anecdotes which pretty much everyone can relate to. Indian writing has really been missing the very crisp sarcasm of Rishi Pipariya. At no point does it get tedious to read. It's light and really enjoyable, highly recommended for anyone who's ever been on a flight.
