Alan Wake (Special Edition) Reviews

This was my first game on the xbox,technically my friend's xbox :P but yea basically i borrowed his xbox for this game and halo:reach,but the story and the scary environment in this game makes it so awesome,i had to get it on pc just to re-live the awesomeness.
And its based on the Novel by Rick Burroughs,trust me it has a fantastic story!!
The soundtrack also in this game by Poets Of the Fall was very well done,totally awesome soundtrack!!
If you haven't tried it out on the xbox and if you love a good action/horror game with a absolutely fantastic story,you definitely must give this a try!!!!

Got to say its one of the best horror game play you can have. The only issue is the downloadable media as its a steam based game.
Once you download the full version its a fantastic game with great twist and turns. Story is excellent and the game has lot of fearful moments. Simply awesome game for any one and everyone to play...

The game graphics are really good and the accompanying soundtrack makes it even more better. There are many situations in which the game does induce a level of fear if playing in night in a dark room. A good story and overall good time killer.

Alan wake is a game released by microsoft .the game sounds or feels good as the publisher.
The game is very suspensive. It is very cinematic .The story is very good .The game graphics is really awesome for the given price tag .The characters are interesting.The weapons look cool.Great atmosphere. The only thing that went wrong is the ending .Other than that the game is really cool .If you like action-thriller games i thoroughly recommend you to get it.I have rated this game 4 because of the only reason of ending.Other than that i enjoyed the game very much.I got the game from flipkart .They are lighting fast.

First of all, The game is short (6 episodes exclusing DLC) and can be completed in 5-7 hrs if you are not looking for any acheivements or does not want to roam all places and just concentrate on completing the objectives.

Cut Scenes, atmosphere and graphics are superb. Experiencing Alan wake with different gameplay than other usual shooter game was quite good and interesting.

Finally I recommend this to people who want a short and different game than usual. and guys looking for Survival-Horror/Horror should not be expecting a lot from this game.

How much I read about this game it's not worth it! A psychological thriller tag doesn't mean that you can do whatsoever you wanna do. This game totally sucks! Moreover, this bloody Steam takes a very long time to update somethings you don't even know about! Even you HAVE game in DVD, it still tries to download it from the fucking Steam server! Bloddy game! Bloody Steam! Maan chod di psychology k naam par! Mein to isko 1 star b nahi deta, par first star pr click kar dene k baad pata chala ki stars ko hataya nahi ja sakta!

This game is awesome.. excellent story line.. as usual Flipkart rocks in delivery... Just done hesitate to buy this game.. order it... The game has excellent graphics too... Music rocks... DLC's are another boon...

It lives up to all the hype you may have seen on internet. It's a game you will want to play again and again. It makes you get horrifying dreams at night if you play the game in an environment like dark room,AC(temp enough to chill you). Do that and you will get thrilling experiences. Make sure no light enters the room.
Awesome game. 100% recommended.

good gameplay, great sound effect, story evolves in chapters (as if in a TV series), does not have a definite ending but it doesn't matter since the fluidity of the story will keep you glued on to your PC.
