Well i have an alcatel x220 since august 2011. The problem with is that it gets hot during the usage and hang up due to excessive heat. The wave radiation is so high that it blocks the range of Direct to Home cable connection if u r within 5-8meters radius of your tv or the dish.(not all channels but many). The body has became loose within 6 months. No proper driver upgradation support from alcatel and the speed tends to slow down as its heats up after use. Please do inform about this to Alcatel if possible

Although i didn't purchased it from flipkart.com, as m using this device from d last 1 yr. and 1 thing which i can say about it.. is its Superb... no any problem of heating up, neither of signal blocking, neither of getting low speed.. and even this device supports auto APN.. so u need not put APN every time even if u change SIMs of different operators...
Go for it.. its worth ur money.. :) :)

Best Data Card
The best data card i've ever used. Have used Micromax and Lava. Could not configure the settings in those properly. Alcatel gets automatic settings and its easy to use. Install the software and done. Have brought 3 of this and all in home are using it.

nice product very good speed, detects sim card settings automatically, works in linux very efficiently, although i m using a 2g sim but it is a great device one can buy for surfing. i cannot say the same thing for downloading.
