All about H. Hatterr

My friends told me that Flipkart was going through some issues with its courier system these past weeks. It seems that they've finally sorted them out because I received this book on time as promised. I ordered it on the second of October and received it just yesterday, that is, on the fourth. No complaints in that area!

As for the book, I have only just begun so I must reserve full judgement, but the forty-odd pages I've read through have been quite delightful. I had assumed that Rushdie was the first Indian author to make a success of himself by mangling the English language. Evidently, I was wrong. It seems that it is Mr Desani who is the pioneer in that field. And his writing is even more delightfully and devilishly playful than Rushdie's. It seems that Mr H Hatter shall be my joyful companion for the next few days!
