Excellent CPU for Overclocking
This is an excellent CPU for overclocking. With stock cooling, I am running this at 3.5 GHz stable with no extra heat. With efficient aftermarket cooling, you can definitely reach 4 GHz or more. I use my system for mostly video rendering and not for gaming. With 6 cores it handles my requirements well above my expectation. Only con I may point out is the stock vcore voltage which seems to be very high (1.47v) probably for the turbo technology feature. If you are not into overclocking and happy at 2.8-3.2 GHz, I would suggest to lower the vcore to 1.3v or even lower. This will bring down the CPU temp at least by 2 degree C. I am running it at 1.35v for 3.5 GHz and idle CPU temp is 41 deg C.
