I am using this processor with Asus M4a89gtd pro & ATI RADEON HD 5670 1GB PCI-E GRAPHIC CARD & 8Gb corsair 1333MHz ram. It gives me performance better than my i5 with 8 Gb Ram & ASUS GeForce GT440 DDR5 graphics card.
I have over clocked it 3.5 Ghz & I really love this configration.
I had been using AMD Phenom Quad Core 9550 Processor for Desktop PC since 2008 and running Windows 7 and Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) in dual boot mode in my PC. The Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA-780-S2H having inbuilt 256 MB ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics. So far I,m highly satisfied with my AMD based PC because it performs great. I always recommend AMD over Intel looking into the performance and cost factors and on these counts AMD is the best. After going through several editions of the Digit magazine, I can conclude that AMD makes the most economical processor in the world and I have experienced the same in my own PC and also on my friends and relatives PCs. Because the market is ruled by Intel so people hesitate to buy AMD. But one can undoubtedly go for any AMD product as far as my own opinion is concerned.
its the best
its cheap and gives goood performance far more better when compared to intel core 2nd generation processors............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... :)
This processor gives a lot of Intel processors a run for their money(and performance, too!). This Processor has 6 native cores, unlike some the Intel ones, which have 3 Cores, but 6 threads. This is the Retail version, meaning that it comes with its own AMD-certified cooler.
This gives way better performance than a Intel i5-2450 and the likes. Best Performance per Rupee, in which Intel horribly lags behind.
This gives me a WEI score of 7.5, a 0.5 increase over the above mentioned Intel Processor5. If you are on a tight budget, AMD is the way to go- You will not regret this choice.
One of the best processors in the market, even for its 45nm lithography process. Can outperform any Intel i3 or i5 rig, with the proper hardware combination. Water cool it and you have a hex-core beast to last you for atleast the next 3 years.
