Frequently Bought Together With This Product
Its the best processor available in this price range.
i made dozen of pcs with amd 555 and this upgraded version.
3.3 GHz inbuilt clock speed, more than 7 mb cache, 80 W power,
45 nm manu tech etc....
Grab it guys, far better than i5
Well to be honest I have built dozens of computers for my friends, clients and customers as I assemble computers as a hobby for that few extra bucks. I have juggled around all possible configurations with this processor as well as all the processors in the Phenom II range of processors from AMD. To be honest, I could get into the details of how good AMD's architecture is than Intel, but I am doing this for the layman and I better talk in their terms than talk like a technological genius.
Here's what it is.
1. It is cheap
2. It is better because it is easy on your pocket.
3. Great performance
4. Overclocking and mod friendly
5. upgrade friendly and wide choice of mainboards.
Here's what it is not
1. it is not your core i3, i5 generation 1, 2 or whatever you want to call it.
You see, now before you'd buy a computer for yourself, what do you normally do? You read stuff on the internet about things you've chose for a PC and then you go ahead and buy it. But if you look into the details, for a person who is obsessive with details, he is better of with the intel processors coz on paper as well as on the web, they mean to say it is way better than the AMD by a few points. But how about the price you pay? See most of us use a computer plainly to get stuff done and browse the internet, watch a movie and so on. The elite some who are the geeks are the ones who want specific stuff from their machines. Trust me on this, this chip is made for them as well as the most of us i mentioned earlier, plainly for the fact that it is quite a performer and of course way cheaper than anything from Intel. I love AMD tech and Intel is just better because they are better at marketing than AMD and that is a fact.
Still if you are thinking, no I am not convinced I need an Intel Core i3 or i5 chip, get the specs side by side compare and then look at what you are about to pay. It is here AMD makes perfect sense. I wouldn't by an Intel just because it is faster than an AMD by a few nano seconds. I would rather save the money and get some beer for the next 1 month.
Whoever is reading this, do yourself a favor, buy this chip and trust me you will not regret.
at first i need to say that i did not buy this processor form flipkart.after using this processor i feel that in this price it was exelent.but intel could not provide in this price any processor like this specification.this processor was runs very cool and quite, like intel processors.its most impressing thing is you can convert this dual core processor into quad core(4 cores)processor through your motherboard bios. My pc configuration is :amd phenom 2 x2 560-processor. gigabyte ga 78lmt-s2. motherboard two 2gb=4gb 1333mhz ddr3 ram. seaget 500gb hdd. 1gb ddr3 nvidia geforce gt520 graphic card. after converting my processor i was compare it with my friend’s intel core i3 3210 3rd generation processor.my processor rating is 7.3 & i3 processor rating is 7.2.now i feel that my pc is smoother than my friend.iam also a gamer.it runs cod mw3,cod mw4,black oops1,black oops2,nfs mw2,nfs hotpursuit, far cry,bf2,bf3,nfs run etc.guys i love this processor.so guy's why are u going to buy costly i3 processors.and i buy this processor in 4600rs.its multitasking was so smooth
core unlocking is purely a luck, i have also M5A88M, so lets take a try..
1) when computer already started switch on core unlocking, light glows, computer shut down and restarts itself after 10-20 sec and boom core unlocked...
2) core unlock switch is in disable state, then go to bios, advanced, CPU configuration then press enter ASUS core unlocker enable it, then press CPU core activation, press enter and select manual then you see four cores press F10 and save it and it restarts and boom four cores enabled,
if any problem enable cores manually one by one means disable forth core or third core and restarts one by one...
i have unlocked my AMD 960T into a pentacore by above method..
Hey Guys! I just want to share my experience to all of you. I have 2 computers, one with Intel Core i3 3225 and other with this processor. Both of them are having 8gb ddr3 ram and are without gpu. I3 gives a very good speed and is highly capable of multitasking. But it has bad remarks for gaming performance. Games like GTA4, BF3 and ac2 are laging during the gameplay. Opposite to this, the phenom 2 560 gives a better experience of gaming. All these games, plus NFS MW2and batman arkham city run perfectly (without laging). It also gives good speed and multitasking capabilities. So, I would recommend this processor to all the gamers. It is better than i3 3225 at just 5k.
