Beast Unleashed...Go for it without any doubt

To replace my 7 year old compaq pc,I have done lots of research to choose a good processor and believe me this the best option available to equivalent i5's and i3's and that too in very reasonable amount. My old comapq has intel p4 and my laptop too have intel dual core, and I was too seek of them coz intel processors performance degrades in few years,And this FX made me fan of AMD.Any thing you throw at it is done!!! Very happy with the performance. Now on Heat sink, stock cooler bundled with pr...

The best Bang for the Buck !!! Lovely CPU !!

At long last, this beautiful chip arrives in India, almost a year after being released in the US.
Simply unbeatable and truly outstanding value.
It's single threaded performance may be slightly less than an equally priced i3-3220, but who really cares. When it comes to multi-threaded stuff that can use all 6 cores, this thing just brutally destroys the i3.

Most games (and software too) are starting to use 4 or more cores, so buying an i3-3220 over this baby right now will be a BIG mistake. ...

The best processor i ever bought under my budget

I am not a AMD fan as till last month i was always using Intel stuffs but this time my friends recommended me to try AMD Processors, and believe me guys i am damn happy by seeing its performance regarding any matters whether you are doing photo editing, movie editing, high end modern games, you can expect everything with this processor.

1) very fast and wallet friendly, cooler than my previous intel dual core and quad core processors although i've placed two fans on my cabinet still processo...

best buy for a gaming pc

first of all this has 6 cores. it might sound tempting but these are physical 6 cores. it does not have hyperthreatning which double the power of 1 core equal to two 2 cores. it can handle multitasking wery well. i recommend to go for win 8 on this cpu as the more amount of cores would help you. i paired this with my r9 270x gpu for the best performance. cpu temprature was 26 celcius on idle and went upto 71 celcius on gaming with 1 stock fan. you need to have a good gpu as this does not have...

A very good value for money!

I needed to replace my six years old AMD 64-3200+ (2 GHz) single core processor with a modern general purpose desktop processor as most new operating systems (Windows/ Ubuntu) and many programs have started utilising more than one microprocessor cores efficiently. After researching the net quite extensively, I learned that Intel indeed makes best desktop CPUs. However, i decided in favour of AMD FX-6300 due to following:
[1] It is priced the same as latest Intel i3's.
[2] Its performance is c...

A BEAST in performance. Worth every penny.

I have always been an Intel user. Was a little skeptical to go for an AMD brand. I have been using it for almost 3 weeks now. The performance has been mind blowing. Considering the price, this is as good as an Intel i5 processor in most of the aspects. Windows 7 gave 7.3 our of 7.9. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to go for a budget desktop. Perfect for gamers.

FX - 6300

I have been using this CPU over 1.5 Years. Mark my words this is the Best CPU you can buy under 10K. This outperforms All other CPU's in it's range. I have played almost all Games like Far cry-4, GTA-5 and black ops3 these games required hell lot of processing power . my CPU is clubbed with 8gb ram @ 1833. and R265 Graphics. No lags no frame drops. This is best value CPU . and it bets Intel by far. Price to performance is pretty low. People who wants to play games should go for this.

Awesome!! Hexsome!!

First of all Excellent Processor !!!
So, You can Ignore all the Benchmarks and Useless Debates in the tech blogs criticizing this Amd Monster.
'Most' of the tasks that any general user uses day-to-day will depend on the multi-thread capacity of a processor. Hence, it's an ace!
Now, if i talk about Gaming then, this is way better than i3. and comparable to i5.
However, I have a ATI 5670 GPU(Not that powerful one) and if you have it too then, the combination will easily satisfy your Gaming ne...

bang for every buck

I wasn't especting such performance from such a budget oriented cpu but boy has it blown me. It performs better than any thing intel can offer at this price. Most of the heavy apps like total video converter or the browsers dont even slouch. All the heavy games are supported and will be supported for very long time(6 cores). It already comes at 3.5 ghz but you can very easily overclock the hell out of this and get a very good performance boost(but you would require an after market cooler). I ...
