This is not a cheap skin case, but I can assure the quality will not disappoint you (you do get what you pay for). it fits really well with all the grooves in place, and provides brilliant hand grip that is missing with the rather slippery glossy plastic surface of the optimus black.

But... I strongly advise any potential buyers to think twice before buying it, and if possible try a slip case on your optimus black before committing. One of the main attractions for purchasing an optimus black is the sleek design of the device. Quite frankly, a slip case would completely destroy that feel. This was too much for me that, risking the grip and scratches on the back cover, I decided not to use it after a week of usage.

Again, this was just my preference and yours may vary.

This case is just perfect for LG Optimus Black. It fits well, has precise cutouts, buttons, and looks great! Protects the phone's glossy back from scratches and abrasions, and lets you keep the phone, screen facing down on a flat surface without worrying about the screen touching it. Provides a good grip too, minimizing the possibility of the phone slipping. All in all a great product.

I did some research on internet and figured out that TPU cases are the best one for mobile handsets. Although they are bit expensive as compared to soft jelly or silicon but if you really want to solve the purpose of protecting your phone from scratches then TPU is the right material to go.
