Analog Integrated Circuit Design (English, Paperback, Martin Ken)
Analog Integrated Circuit Design takes a detailed look into the essential knowledge needed for an integrated circuit designer.
Summary Of The Book
Analog Integrated Circuit Design by Ken Martin and David A. Johns is a book that deals with the circuit design and the various processes behind the system. It is a concise coverage of all aspects of design and also provides instructions on how to improve its performance.
The analog design is essentially created with the help of hand calculations and is preceded by the microprocessor. These are circuits which have more than ten transistors and there is a need for trial and error testing before approving the manufactured product. The first kind was called Simulation Program with Integrated Circuits Emphasis or SPICE which was computerized and complex. This was replaced by the ASIC analog.
The chapters of this book include Processing and Layout, Integrated-Circuit Devices and Modelling, Advanced Current Mirrors and Opamps, and Switched-Capacitor Circuits. There are also chapters on Basic Opamp Design and Compensation, Basic Current Mirrors and Single-Stage Amplifiers, Oversampling Converters, Comparators and Nyquist-Rate D/A Converters as well as Phase-Locked Loops.
This book was published in the year 2008 by Wiley India Pvt. Ltd.
