Travels with a Mexican Circus (English, Paperback, Hickman Katie)
Travels With A Mexican Circus is a book about Katie Hickman and her year long travel with a Mexican circus. It describes the people and the places that Katie had visited during the year and how she herself became a performer during that time.
Summary of the Book
When she visited Mexico, Katie expected to experience magic. It wasn’t long before she did find magic at a circus. There were clowns, elephants and other performers. At night, the place would be a glittering delight with all the props, costumes and performers. She slowly adjusted to the harsh ways of the circus and even started to understand the people who belong to the circus. She saw that they lived a nomadic lifestyle where they could not call one place their home for too long. She was soon carried away by this world and was even made a performer known as La Gringa Estrella. This is Katie's beautiful and exciting journey with the circus and across the beautiful country.
