Description

Having retired early, she wants a change from a boring life of babysitting, a change she finds in her new home in the town of Bellevue sur mer with its pleasant views and beautiful scenes, What was not beautiful was the moment when a skeleton fell out of her closet.

Summary of the Book

Theresa’s life is not what she wants, an early retirement and time spent with her bossy daughter and difficult kids whom she has to babysit. A life in a beautiful town with a beautiful view of the sea would be much nicer. So she goes and gets it. Having sold her house, she now lives in a town just outside Nice, the town of Bellevue sur mer. While the scenes, the cafes, the beautiful villas are all good, certain things are good, while her  life at Bellevue sur mer begins with the feeling of freedom and friends like the glamorous Carol, the hot TV star Sally, the fierce Sian, the witty Zoe and the charming Brian, it does not continue with just this. What follows are incidents where she opens a cupboard to find a skeleton falling out and thoughts that perhaps her new home is “Not Quite Nice”.
