Had the character of Henry Wutton been written by any contemporary writer, it would have attracted unprecedented ire. If the strong misogynist tone of the novel is ignored, it can be easily seen why this one figures as a mandatory reading in most universities. The most attractive part of the book is its language. The cover is gorgeous and it looks as i expected it. But I was not satisfied by the quality of it. The pages were thin and white. The cover is also of soft texture (but I guess it was intented to be that way). The font is easily readable but could have been bigger for better for comfortable reading. As it's a classic, it's generally very cheap to buy but this edition cost me 240 rupees ( I have the same book of 80...
