Apple iPod classic 160 GB

It is advised that before buying any Apple product such as iPods, one must familiarize with the service aspects or lack of the same. Apple being on the forefront of innovation constantly will bring in new products. Older products are termed as Obsolete or Vintage and then there would be no support. More importantly, even if support is available(outside warranty), it is an expensive replacement option ONLY.

This is a great addition for someone who loves to keep his/her entire music collection with them at all times.

Pros:
Storage is massive, you can have your entire collection on the iPod.I have barely filled half of it yet.
The look and feel is smooth.
The ear phones are very light & a perfect fit, doesn't even feel like you are wearing something.
The management of music files is very efficient using iTunes, just love it.

Cons:
The device is pretty bulky. I mean its bulky enough to grab your notice and slight irritation as well.
The music quality could have been a touch better, there is lack of good preset equalizers.
No proper/apt case yet. At least I have not been able to find anything useful.

This is an masterpiece and king of all music players. Plays music superbly which is actually it is supposed to do. Clear, Crisp and loud music. Listening to music via ipod is actually mind blowing even if you are having low grade headphones it will feel too good, you will find a lot of difference while playing same music on any other device with same headphones.
Coming to 2.5 Inch screen it is just enough. Bright and High Quality. Viewing videos was just an add-on feature and so don't complain about small size just because you can't watch vids properly. If you are true music lover with tons of music collection, this one is just for you. 6 years and I am still using it.

Caution: DON'T USE IT AS EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE AND DON'T store anything else other than music SYNC through iTunes.!!
Also don't sync your music all at one time(more than 10gb) and avoid sync it every other day.
One more thing you should know before buying that in India, Apple doesn't provide part-level service i.e if your ipod have any hardware problem(most of the time harddisk failure due to misuse), Auth service center will replace it with new one without any complications until in warranty period and after that replacement fee is their which is almost half the price of it.

I know its very comfy and portable to store data on ipod but believe me you wouldn't want to do that if you love your ipod :D
Hard disk of these ipods have a limited life span and is delicate. You will soon start facing problems like hanging, sync problem, lagging and even bricked if you don't take care of your ipod. So take the note of the caution seriously!
It is a 5 star product but I will give 4 star, deducting one for for its high price and problem prone harddisk.

Fantastic battery life, Simple and Easy to use, 160GB Storage Space is sufficient to store all your music at one place. Combine it with Flipkart's flyte(which is another best place to buy high quality music(320 bit rate). Before buying one should alway look at his/her requirements. Plus one can use the iPOD as a external storage. so it always helpful when you want to store/move your photos from your SLR to External HDD. iPOD spares you to carry too many devices when you are on the move. Single device for music and storage with good battery life. It has everything i wanted. Can't ask for more.

For music loves who hears tons and tons of music,it is really like a huge boon. You can actually store around a 50 Thousand songs.

And in my opinion it can also work as a good hard disk. Just plug the iPod,from my computer you can drag and drop the files into the iPod and it just works like a great external HDD.

But if you are looking for good ipod with games and applications then you have to go for a 8GB iPod touch.
If you are purely for music,then just go for this.
