Professor S.A. Abbasi, Coordinator, Centre for Pollution Contral and Energy Technology has taken MS (Miami, USA), PHD (IIT Bombay) and DSC (Cochin University of Science and Technology) and had his post-doctoral training at Japan, specializing in environmental engineering, and energy systems. He has been elected Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, and Institution of Engineers. Dr. K.B. Chari has taken his MS (Ecology), and M.Phil and PhD (Environemtnal Science and Engineering) degrees from Pondicherry University and in presently a post-doctoral scientist at the Centre for Pollution Control and Energy Technology, Pondicherry University.
