This is a Gem in Advaith knowledge. Generally recommended for sadaka's to read it @ the end of self knowledge journey.

There can never be better book than this. Nothing more can be said in any language beyond the book information. I recommend everybody to read it.

this book contains the highest advaitic knowledge imparted by sage ashtavakra to his pupil king janaka. it was advised by ramana maharshi to seekers. the verses are in sanskrit, kannada and english. bhagavan ( ramana maharshi) has copied the sankrit version by his own hand above the kannada version and therefore this book was carefully preserved in the ashram archives.
