Assassin's Creed: Revelations follows Ezio Auditore da Firenze's quest to discover the secret library of Altair.

    Summary Of The Book

Assassin's Creed: Revelations details the workings of the ancient Assassins Order, which has for long been fighting the Knights Templars and their quest for world domination. Sworn enemies, the two orders have been trying to wipe out each other, without success. Ezio, after discovering that he belongs to the Assassins Order, was trained in the ways of the order to prepare him for a confrontation with the Templars and their associates.

After putting an end to the threat from the Borgias, Ezio is now on a mission to find the library of Altair, the famous Assassin leader and mentor who lived during the time of the Third Crusade. This mission is of paramount importance for it will help reveal the true purpose of the Assassin Order.

In Constantinople, where the secret is hidden, trouble is brewing.  A power struggle is emerging between the two Princes, Ahmet and Selim for the throne. The Templars, who are stirring up the trouble behind the scenes, support Ahmet. When Ezio reaches his destination, he is captured by the Templars, but he escapes.

Ezio penetrates the deep heart of the castle, and manages to locate the Altair library. But, the door is closed and he discovers that he has to unearth five keys in order to open it. As he sets out on his quest, he befriends a Turkish Assassin leader who helps him.

He also makes other friends, a young student named Suleiman, and a beautiful book collector named Sofia. Suleiman's importance to the plot is revealed late in the story. Meanwhile, Ezio falls in love with Sofia, who also helps him in his quest.

In the middle of all this, Ezio is also caught up in the royal conflict between the two princes for the Ottoman crown. As Ezio helps a friend, he soon learns that the Templars are also in search of the keys.

Now, Assassin's Creed: Revelations follows Ezio in a race against time as he tries to locate the five keys and also ensure the safety of his friends, and stay alive himself to finish his quest.
