Assassin Creed is where the journey begins for the series main protagonist Desmond Miles. The Game has a storyline that of a hollywood movie set in the barbaric war torn period of the Thrid Crusade where you begin ur journey as Altair a skilled Assassin who has been demoted for failing to follow rules set forth by the assassin order and therefore must regain his status and respect by completing the missions assigned to you by your master. But truth will be revealed only at the end.

Epic story line, innovative gameplay, professional voice acting and script immersed in historic landmarks makes this game a must play.

Play the Assassin creed series from part 1. Then only it will be enjoyable or gamers may find themselves confused to the sequence of events in its Sequels like AC-2, AC-Brotherhood and the up coming AC-revelations.

First of all kudos to flipkart for yet another excellent delievery. This the first product I got through "Flipkart Delievery Service" and it is pretty good. Removes all the hassle involving a thrid party courier service.
So, about the game. This is the second time I am playing this game cause the first time I never got to finish it and the most awesome thing is that it never gets old. Still as challenging as playing for the first time.
About the presentation, the game is set somewhere amidst the third crusade in the Holy Land around Damscus and Jerusalem and the developers claim the game to be based on actual hisoric events. Well, I'm not much of buff about history but I think I'll go with it and commit to it. Some how it helps the whole aura of the game. Makes it enjoyable. The story is very intriguing and absolutely enjoyable but one has to pay a lot of attention to the dialogues to get the whole plot of the story or else it just would be about a guy saving citizen, taking beef with the guards and killing some one with a good cloak of stealth. Being a sandbox game there are tons of possibilities how to get around your target and when taking planning into account it just gives a lot more pleasure.
Playing on relatively new gaphic card (GT 420M), the graphics department is pretty good. Animation and acting is almost realistic and quite credible. For the opening of an awesome series it is just great. Got decent FPS in medium setting.
Gameplay is rather unique to the Assassin's Creed and it works in favor of it. With four combat modes, entering into fight is gruesome and with a features like counter-attack, grab greak and dodging, it will always keep the player on his heels. Navigation through the map incudes a free-running mode which adds so much of the sync with current global extreme sport of parkour. Loved that. Encountering bosses is best thing the game offers. Planning moves to get closer to the target and executing the target without even the target noticing it until the last moments is just awesome and bound to give quite an adrenaline kick.
Overall, the game is bound to take the player into a mesmerizing journey across exotic land and and pretty challenging challenges. However, the game tends to get repetitive at times but with increasing complexity and difficulty to challenges there is not much complaining.

It's an interesting concept, really quite innovative, putting a historical story in the middle of a science-fiction setting. Even the game-play mechanics are nice. The graphics are beyond good and can be breathtaking at times. What is especially nice is the sword play in the game. The way the protagonist moves with such grace in the counter acts is simply sublime.

The only problem is that the game gets really repetitive after a while. You keep doing the same damn things over and over again. The only way the difficulty increases is by increasing the number of computer opponents which really ceases to be an issue once you figure out the two main counter attacking moves.

Ubisoft created an innovative concept but they could not implement it creatively enough in terms of diversity of what can be done within that world. It is a good game but could have offered much more.

The package from flipkart arrived in three days. Installed and played well enough. It's great that Ubisoft does not use DRM anymore.

A tip for first timers. At the end of the game when the credits roll do not exit the game. At the end you will find yourself back in the lab. Go to the table, pickup the pen and then access the laptop. You will be able read some mails and stuff. Also press e to activate eagle vision. Do this in the bedroom for some more more cut-scenes.

this game is worth playing, spending your hard-owned money on this will not let u regret, its just like living life of an assassin u're self, great music, great graphics, great moves, complete game is designed well, i just fell in love with this game. After listening that this game has only 9 levels i was a bit disappointed but then it was really rocking that i hardly left my laptop, such an addictive game and best of all, its an addictive series starting from 2007 till now with the continuous hits. After this is ac2 then ac:brotherhood then again ac:revelations and upcoming ac:3 (for pc). The final fight between Altair and his mentor Al Mualim is really interesting. i have core i3 2.3 ghz with 2 gb ram and INTEL HD GRAPHICS FAMILY gfx and it runs well on my machine. If u wanna have a good game gamers than ac is in ur front... :)

This game is just awesome. It will take some times to understand the skills of Altair. If you find all the fighting skills of Altair then you will be able to play the game with so ease & lots of fun. Jumping,climbing to the top of the buildings to take the view points of city is just awesome. Riding horse & fighting with soldiers are classic & nice. All about game is just simply rocks. Graphics are good,fighting skills & jumping from top of the buildings are just awesome. If you want to look a good game for this cost then this is the game you need.

I am enjoying this game & i will order AC2 & AC3 for completing my journey to the classic games.
