A Worthy Product !!
After much research over internet, I zeroed-in on this lappy... It has everything you want from a lappy plus it's pretty much in your budget...
I ordered it via Flipkart and the product was delivered to me in 3 days.. Packaging was good, as per Flipkart's standards..
Laptop exteriors are good (it's not very clear in the display pic, but in reality, it looks better than in the pic).
I installed Windows 7 Ultimate edition ... Got installed without any troubles... Installed the drivers provid...

My first Laptop- ASUS :)
First let me tell you that I'm very satisfied with this laptop and the service from Flipkart, got it delivered in 3 days...Packaging was good. I'm using it for the past 10 days...and thought to write my opinion about this product so the others can benefit.
Let me tell you that i have to choose this laptop over 2 others (Lenovo G580 (59-324061) / HP G6-2005AX AMD A8 Quad Core)....and trust me it was not so easy...but finally I'm glad i decided on Asus.

Awesome laptop
I've been using this laptop for the past 2-3 weeks and I would like to share my views on it. I had done much research on a budget laptop with high specifications and ended up on this nice notebook.
It comes with free DOS pre-installed on it, so that way you save money on the software. Windows 7 64bit drivers CD is provided in the box.
Since I had a 32-bit Win7 at home, I had to download and install the drivers from the Asus website. But I had a problem with the bluetooth drivers, as bluetoot...

Great product...
1. comes without any previous installations, makes it easier for everyone to install s/w of their choice.
2. the s/w provided by Asus on the driver disk are great.
3. comes with NVIDIA GeForce 610M which has 2GB of memory.
The only cons(from my perspective) wud be.
1. HDD is only 500, cud've been at least 750..
2. my wifi connects at 54mbps(802.11 b/g) only, even though in the specs it says that this laptop supports 802.11 b/g/n

Good buy - except for the graphics card
Pros:
1. Good display
2. Good performance - i3 CPU + 4GB RAM works well in tandem
3. Very good battery life
4. Good build quality for the price
5. USB 3.0 - The future of file transfer devices.
Cons:
1. Graphics card. Even though it has 2GB memory, its performance is inferior to that of nVidia 520MX with 1GB memory
Overall it's a good buy, but not great value for money since Asus gave it for 3000 lesser than the current price a few months ago.

This one is a class apart with its second generation i3-2350M 2.30GHz(DUAL CORE), awesome design, nVIDIA GRAPHICS(2GB), nice video and sound quality, With cool apps like face logon, lifeframe, sonic focus,etc.

Awesome Laptop "DON'T WAIT JUST BUY"

Very good laptop in 30K budget. I loved it. I am impressed with the performance of laptop. It is even good for gaming. I am just can't refuse to say that this laptop is AWESOME choice!!!

Laptop worth buying
I have been using HP Pavilion 6810us for the past 4years and finally got rid of it with my new ASUS notebook.I have searched web for many laptops with dedicated 2gb nVidia graphics and couldn't find one which was worth less than 50k :( Finally found this awesome one in flipkart...loving it :):):)
