Asus P53E-S0101D Laptop (2nd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 750GB/ DOS)

I have never been satisfied with a gadget to this extent because for its price, this is simply marvelous! The keypad is ultra user friendly, design is highly sophisticated, battery backup is 4 hrs and the screen is vibrant! audio quality is also really good and the metallic body doesn't give it a cheap plastic look.
i've got windows7 installed since it comes with free dos.
flipkart delivered it within 3 days which is really fast.
Go for it. Period.

I am Professional in Servers and Security and I bought this for my Cousin.

Best Part of it, This is coming with Free DOS which Reduces the Cost.
1 Memory Slot is Free, So for Some 1400 /- you Can Upgrade the Machine to 8 Gig RAM.
Processor was i5 Which Supports Virtualization.
VMWare Runs Flawlessly.
Driver CD is Good to have All Drivers.

Specially Saying the Inbuilt Speakers are Just Fanatastic, Its equal to a Small Satellite Speakers Sound.

Full Size Keyboard, and the Screen was Very Good.
Special Applause to be Given to ASUS for Such a Wonderful Design.

Battery was Giving 4.5 Hours at this Moment, But would stick at 3 Hours.

CONS::
Finding a Spare Battery is Difficult. Its Good if Flipkart Includes in their Catalouge.

I Would Recommend it for Any Professional for Multiple Requirements, as well as Media Center One.

This black beast is just amazing. Here are my observations after 4 days playing with the beast.

1. Simple design, Good Build Quality.

2. All round performance for all your needs [office work / Entertainment / Gaming].

3. Ice cool technology is working as advertised. Doesn't heat up much while playing games.

4. Intel HD Graphics 3000 is best for most of the games as it shares 1GB of RAM as Graphics memory; played Dead Space,BF2,Crysis2 at medium settings.

5. Battery backup is very very good. Almost 4-5 hours in Battery save mode and 3 hours in entertainment mode.[just install Power4Gear software from Asus]

6. Keyboard is shallow and spacing is quite bad. I am still getting used to in-between space.

7. LCD LED Anti-glare display - gives more brightness with anti-glare so that you can work continuously without eye problems.

8.Business class model which gives hard drive protection, anti theft technology.

9. Little heavy but carry-able

10. USB3.0 option would have been nice.

the machine is a beauty in itself.most of my friends at my college are awestruck how such a good machine could come at such a low pricing.i initially made three choices one being a hp i5 at 28k ,the second being a dell and third this one. my friends recommended me not to go for this.but as a practicing scientist i decided to experiment and went for this .and it paid off.

This machine is Perfect for home and business usage. After OS installation Graphic processor gives you very crisp image(outstanding for a system without Graphic card)
Battery life is min 3 hours with entertainment mode or high performance. with battery saving mode it will give you upto 5 hours. *** system does not get even warm with extensive usage*** Ice Cool from ASUS Rocks. well nobody can beat flipkart prizes.
Windows experience for this system is 4.6
processor is 7 which is great. so if you are thinking to buy a laptop without OS grab this beast....
