ASUS P5G41T-M LX3 Motherboard

i have been using this motherboard since almost 9 months with DUAL CORE E5700 3.0 GHz 2nd gen. processor it works awesome .. brilliant performance and it works truely well while doing multi-tasks having high usage of memory compared to other motherboards , other boards become slow and usually hangs . but this one gives priority to each and every process and executes all of them at the same time with really nice rapidity . i love my board too much . it just suits best for me .. if u wanna play games then it gives u max FPS in med quality gfx , with any external GPU . i m using it with 2 GB 1333 Mhz dynamic RAM .. and it reely works the best . moreover it has turbo functionality which boosts up ur system if u want any work to be done more quick . and the best thing i like in it is that i never heard a single noise from that board .. its really cool and quite . the drivers are awesome . i have 3 fans incl. the processor .. but its totally quiet . its also quiet while overclocking . if ur budget is quite the same . then surely go for this 1 . its best among any other board in this price or below 3500 .

I wanted something to replace my ASUS P5GCMX because its BIOS clock had started malfunctioning after 5 years. I wanted a value MOBO. Searching through about 39 motherboards, I finally settled with this one. Let me show you light:

PROS

1) Great Packaging both my Flipkart and ASUS
2) Extra SATA Cables provided but not nuts
3) Good Spacing between all components
4) Motherboard very decently marked for assembling
4) Very Good Overclocking Capabilities and User Interface
5) Lots of Safety Features inside the BIOS
6) Lots of SATA Ports
7) Additional PCIex port next to PCIex graphics port
8) Snugged into place without any difficulty
9) Very Good Value for Money !

CONS

1) Motherboard Drivers are loaded in a DVD instead of a CD. SO you cannot read then without a DVD Reader
2) There are NO Parallel-ATA (PATA) Ports. I could not connect my old HDD and old CD Writers to it. But if you have All SATA HDDs and Writers then this is the one for you.

IF IT HAD A SINGLE PATA PORT THEN I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT A 5 STAR - Otherwise truly valuable motherboard.

hey friends i am running my computer institute and very much experience with motherboards. Here are some review about asus boards:

1- I am facing too much problem after 1 year old Asus motherboards. They are very sensitive to electric and dust. Many asus motherboards not getting power startup. You have to unplug SMPS supply from motherboard and clean Motherboard and replug.

But also fact that asus motherboard good in running. Good FAN control to CPU.
Asus PC probe good hardware monitor s/w.

If you know something about Desktop like plug - unplug the inside cables. then asus good option.

I bought this board in dec for my E7500, running on 3.67 GHz on stock had heating issues in summer, but fine now, increase voltage by 50mV, fsb and rams to 1333. And processor fan speed to max.
Doesnt have USB 3
Internal graphics chip is quite fast, ran max payne 3 at 800*600 everything low.

Basically I got this mobo for My Intel QX9650 (Core™2 Extreme Processor 12Mb Cache, 3.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB ) it has Q fan which intelligently adjusts ur cpu fan speed. supports asus trubo boost with 3 profiles for easy overclocking. currently using it with 8 gb DDR3 @ 1333Mhz (9-9-9-24 CR2)
