SPECS AND FEATURES - this motherboard is based on latest chipset z77 supporting latest intel ivy bridge processors aka 22nm processors.it is also backward compatible with sandy bridge processors which are 32 nm processsors.

it comes with huge amount of asus features like smart digi +,fan control system,UASP,PCLe3.0 ready which are few of them

PERFORMANCE - OVERCLOCKING! thats not a big deal for this motherboard with technologies like fan expert 2.0.
pair it with an asus gtx (above 560) series graphic card and then you have the right ammunition to become a serious hardcore gamer.

EXTRA FEATURES - you can connect your pc to smartphone and contro it and send files through wifi and control it with your own qwerty keypad on your phone.
DLNA streaming has been made very easy.
you can create a huge wifi environment with your pc, smartphone or tablet,television.

VERDICT - well i don't think i've to say anything after this but still
if you're a serious gamer who belives in overclocking,newer technology and believes in future pc upgradations and most importantly want to drop some weight from your money pocket to buy this master art perfection then this is the way to go!!!!!

The ASUS P8Z77-V was feature rich, stable under duress, and well appointed for almost all enthusiasts’ needs. You can easily build a kick ass gaming rig with this motherboard.

The ASUS P8Z77-V proved to be a great motherboard. Its price point however does put it at somewhat of a premium, but if you can utilize the headline features there is no doubt that it will be of great value. If you can use the ASUS Wi-Fi GO! Feature, that alone is a valuable feature. While it packs a lot of features, it does not have it all, which is understandable. No eSATA, no FireWire (not that it probably matters to many anymore), and no virtualization support, or WHS and WS2008R2 drivers. A couple of these could me deal breakers, so i thought it important to mention those here.

I bought this motherboard from a retail store. Its a great motherboard and fan expert 2 is a nice feature and you don't need a dedicated fan controller for your case fans. Also great for overclocking with 1 click auto tuning USB 3.0 transfer speed is also very fast (120 to 130 mbps Barracuda 2TB HDD).

This pc can play BlackOPS 2 in 4XMSAA, Med Shadow all highest setting in 130FPS (1920X1080 Res). Overclocked my cpu to 3.8 GHz using turboV fast auto tuning (not extreme because I need a water cooler). Cpu temp hovers around 65 to 68C with stock cooler. BlackOPS2 fps is 135 to 140 max.

The P8Z77-V has proven itself in my mind as a capable enthusiast board in every way that counts. Good layout, excellent stability, solid features, awesome fan control, capable software, and the best UEFI on the market.
clocked at 4.7 ghz with my 3570k and still stable.overclocking is fun.just use the oc tuner.it has got performance which even beats/synonymous with higher priced z77s.got lot of features if can be used properly.really like the wifi go.

This is the exact same as an ASRock Extreme 6. It costs Rs.6000
more. Why, oh WHY, would you want this?

People, do a little research.

Both mobos are Z77; both have 6 SATA links total; the ASRock has two more then the Asus. Both are forward-intel compatible, both support SLI/Crossfire, both do this, both do that.

The ASRock comes with more features, for less. And frankly, it looks a ton better doing it.
