Setting up the router was not easy. There are two modes IP Sharing and Access Point mode. I didn't have the ISP username and password so I couldn't set up the IP sharing mode. But the Access Point mode is working fine after a few hours of searching online for how to set it up.Here's what I did:
Set it to AP mode, connected the modem out cable to one of the LAN ports - not the WAN port of the ASUS router - now all my devices (laptop, phones) are connected without any problem. Good range.

I have bought this router 6 months back. My feedback is please doing go for this router.

The main problem with this router is that most of time it loses wireless network. It is not like sudden drop of network, but Most of times when i turned on the router there was no wireless network. In fact wired network was working fine. In that case you can try your luck with 2-3 times turn on-off. And most of time it did not work for me. Other than this, only one solution is reset the whole thing. That is quite painful thing because you need to configure router from start, which is time consuming thing.

Second most frustrating problem is that, Asus customer service sucks. If you have any problem you would never get answer from them. I have send couples of mails to them for same problem. But every time they have universal answer that” please update your firmware”.

it is not as easy as it says plug and play on the features. it took me 2days to setup and finally by the help from a outside computer tech guy which i have to shell out 200bucks for the configuration. Even Asus customer support could not configure they fail miserably. OK but after the insttallation and config was success than it works as flawless and in veryy good speed and decent range. im satisfied with the product but it gave me hard time during the install and config process apart from that its very satisfactory and good wifi router. And one more thing if u r a not a techie guy than better be ready to call some local comp technician for assistance.

For the price - this router is exceptionally good. I got it setup in minutes and all my devices (phones, laptops, my Samsung smart TV) all of 'em got connected without hassle, over WiFi.

What more, this one has more features than other routers in this segment, which are priced higher. Apart from that, the coverage I get is awesome - (in my decently large 2 BHK apartment) I get full signal strength at every nook and corner.

Final Word: If you are looking for a router for home use - Buy this one - It's worth every 'paisa' you'll spend.

Firstly, excellent service from flipkart. This was the first product I bought from an online store and have no complaints what so ever. Got it within a day of ordering. neatly packed. with cash on delivery option.

And coming to the product.. its one amazing router. looks a really sexy with an excellent finish. And mainly, the installation was childs play. Just plug and play. hardly took 5 mins to get it running. been 2 weeks since i got it and no problems what so ever.
