motherboard with latest bios update.
before today i got asus sabertooth fx 990 motherboard and with doubt about bios even it is new bios.i was afraid.when i got all component- asus sabertooth fx 990 motherboard,fx 8120 eight core processor,4 gb corssair ddr3 ram.then i assemble all it in sorsair 400r Cabinet.after that i switch on and found that motherboard is on latest bios 09xx.
after that i installed windows 7 64 bit.and it works fine.now i'm playing battlefield 3 very smoothly.
i want to say don't afraid to buying this motherboard.because it is on latest bios which support amd fx 8120 processor. so,rush for it.have a nice day friend

First of All...its listed here as 990FX but what i got was 990FX v 2.0 (which is a more recent model) at the same cost. I don't mind coz v2.0 has some added BIOS features.
Packaging was good and they did deliver it in 5 days. Board looks really solid and heavy
Couple of pointers to Sabertooth buyers
1. If you have a FX 8 series processor, the system might not boot. If you have a lower series spare processor, boot with it, update BIOS to latest version then put the 8 series chip, else take it to service center and they'll update the BIOS for you.
2. While installing OS onto a drive/partition make sure you dont have any preexisting OS installed on the drive/partition else the bootloader will give you all kinds of funny outcomes.
3. Riad configuration has a limit of 3.2TB
4. Board is power hungry, feed it with good quality powersupply preferably 8pin aTX.
5. If you're planning to use 4 sticks of RAM make sure your model is in Asus QVL
It takes a bit of effort to gain momentum, but totally worth it.

Great product, even better service
My motherboard was slated to arrive later but actually arrived few days earlier than expected. Packing was excellent as always with those lil air cushions. Also pleased to discover that though it just shows sabertooth on the site I got the R 2.0 !!!! Awesome!!

Realy Good M/B
One of the best H/W Wise!!!
But some parts of the AI suite Sucks.
eg: on my system
Thermalradar:CHA(Chassis Fan speed setting):USER
& try to set the temp graph. Eventually u will get FDIV error! (Division by zero)
i have Xcalibur Fans on my MPC as well as Cabinet. And am unable to control the CHA Fan Speed. At time it sounds like my cars Radiator fan even though its relatively cool! And no its not the fans fault(Xcalibur), its one of the best i could find.

Sexy Board for Game Lovers.....Futuristic board
I purchased it in march 2012 from flipkart. I joined it with 8120FX processor + 12 GB RAM + Nvidia 440GT 2GB + 500GB WD + 1 TB Samsung but use cooler master PSU 500W....bcoz more power consumption but can switch off 6 cores from UEFI bios installed in it and use GPT partition form with HDDs bcoz more efficient also one Cooler master heatsinker...dont overclock it.
heatsinker with processor is not worth it for above configuration.
