For the price it is marketed, this is really VFM product. It works out of box on Linux ditros. However, mind you, it cannot connect to hidden network from within Ubuntu and Linux Mint. On Win 7 x64, it works well and can connect to broadcasting and non-broadcasting networks equally well. The driver CD comes with it's own wi-fi scanner and manager software. But you can disable it and use Windows n/w manager.

Great Performance at some times average at others
The product looks good, It is small, sleek fit it and forget it type. As advertised works perfectly in linux. However i sometimes notice slow speeds especially when transferring a large number of small files. For large files the transfer speed is excellent. If you are into web browsing, this is a real good product. However if you want to move lots of files here and there, you might want to skip it. Under the hood it uses the Realtek 8192SE chipset.

It Works!
I was hunting for a wifi adapter for my hackintosh for quite sometime. I am glad i finally found this. It works right out of the box which to my surprise. Signal strength is alright considering it is 3 walls away. Cant ask for more on this price. I am satisfied with this buy.

Can share internet on ubuntu
I got it delivered two days ago, so I can not comment much on how it works over time but I came here to help clear mis-information
After reading the review from srinivas I had my fingers crossed when I purchased this. This was the only adapter I could find which seemed to support linux.
It worked out of the box on ubuntu 12.10
I get internet from a local ISP which needs me to log in through the browser before I can use my internet, so I'm guessing ubuntu does a NAT routing.

Best wireless alternative
I am using Asus USB-N10 on my Macbook Pro. It is delivering high performance,impressive signal strength and speed.I am highly satisfied. Installation is pretty easy and the product is very portable,which is the best part of it and since its an Wireless N speed is superb.

Works well!
Works well with ubuntu 12.04 LTS running on beagleboard xm(arm), I was skeptical at first though, but after a couple days of usage without hiccups im happy with it. Range is also good, no connection drops so far. Only one thing, it gets really hot after couple minutes of usage.

Tiny and Great device
It's working really great. My Router is far away from 90 meters and it isn't disconnected single time from since I received (from last 1 month), I haven't tried with 150 meters distance yet but I am sure it will work up to 150 meters.
Installation is also very quick and easy.
Overall, I would recommend this product.
But This time filpkart took ~4-5 days to make this order.

good but not the best
product is excellent in its working excelent range but it tends to get hotter wid overuse which is not a problem but it gives less speeds as compared to other wifi adaptors as it gets hot with time ....for this price range go for tp link as it also serves as a router which this product from asus donot offer.....

Excellent Product and Service
Very fast shipping by flipkart, bought this 2 days back and it was delivered in less than 30 hrs.
Product is good and has good reception. Works with Win7-x64, not may such Wifi USB devices work with Win7-x64. The wireless router is in another room yet the signal is strong and reception is excellent for such a small device.
It is small in size, so there are chances of losing it.

PROBLEM FOR INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING
i tried to share my desktop wired connection internet ,but this adaptor doesnt support internet sharing/ software access point. My main concern of taking this device was to make my desktop computer as wireless router and access internet via all my other wireless devices (lappy & tablet). it failed to do so. but i thank to flipkart for ther excellent services. i got my money back to wallet. TP link is good for internet connection sharing because it has Software AP built in
