Good product from a well-known brand.

I brought this product for my desktop for my home Wifi (MTNL) Internet connection. Installing it in Windows was a breeze and worked without any problem.. but installing it in Linux is not as straightforward (as expected). Those who want to use it primarily in Linux (like me), should download the latest drivers from Ralink website as the drivers provided with the package is old and doesn't compile (mine should a build error), and Google for "Build RT3070 kernel module on Ubuntu", and you sho...

good product

easy to install, works great, and comes with an extender!

i have been using this product for 3 months now...no complaints! i mainly use it to watch blu-ray content via network sharing. even the 1080p content plays flawlessly...but when i try to transfer data and watch a movie simultaneously, i experience some lag...but i think i can live with that..all in all excellent product

Excellent Product; Good Buy at best Price fro Flipkart

Hi,

I normally do not write reviews on online purchases, but this product has altered my habits. My MacBook Pro (2009) lost its inbuilt airport card (WIFI) and I was struggling to connect to my office WIFI. Asus has done a good job by introducing this product, which has multiple connectivity and can be used across a number of Operating Systems. Works perfect with OSX and is very simple to install and the user interface is the least complicated.

Shipment as usual from Flipkart was flawless with great packaging.
The product itself, thankfully, had all up-to-date drivers and installation software on the accompanying CD.
Iam currently using it without any problems.

Just a word of caution:2.4Ghz Wifi headphones interefere with Wireless adaptors. So, those who use wireless headphones with their desktops, be a mite careful as you would have to use these 2 devices mutually exclusively. But that is generic wifi issue. nothing to do with thi...

Keeps disconnecting every few minutes

I have tried connecting via this device from various systems but network keeps disconnecting. Google tells me there are similar issues with this device. Dont waste your money on this.

Can be used as subs for that expensive Airport.

Asus USB-N13 is worth the price

Very Good signal at approx 30 mt away through 1 walls.
Moderate signal at approx 20 mt away through 3 walls.

On my system(Win7 x64/Gigabyte Z77M-D3H) I had a problem with speed.
Was receiving very low download speeds in AP Mode.Upload speeds were fine.
Had to set QoS to disabled & Adaptivity to Enabled in "n" mode to solve the problem.
In "b" or "g" mode no such modification is necessary.

Good Product

does not work with linux(ubuntu)

I have tried every possible way to install it but it does not work. It works fine on windows. Buy at your own risk.
