value for money
Have been exploring my newly bought X54C for like 4 days.
No complaints so far.
Minor irritants though..
1) Running on Ubuntu 12.04 based OS,was facing an unsteady wifi connectivity over WPA-PSK mode (to wifi router).
recompiled kernel with latest stable gnu/linux 3.5.3
throwed out all wireless lan modules except ath9k
and no issue so far since then.(also ditched network-manager&replaced it with wicd network manager)
2)Touchpad is a bit non-responsive&side scrolling is a pain..so plan on buy...

Performance
Performance is really Awsome... But you guys should install OS by writing a OS DVD by slow speed (2X)... otherwise OS will not get installed.
