Packaging - Have always liked Flipkart's packaging. Compact and Secure.

Contents - Received all the contents mentioned + Driver's and utilities disc for Windows 7 64 bit Operating System.

Exterior looks - Sturdy, Matt Finish, Standard laptop keyboard, Led indicators for Power, charge, HDD, WiFi, Caps lock and Num lock. Connectors evenly spaced with a USB on each side.

I have purchased this laptop on 6 th Mar 2012 not from FlipKart but from other regional store. Looks of the product is awesome and resolution of display is crystal clear. the thing which led this product down is battery back up it only lasts for 4 to 4 and a half hours so it is really difficuilt to do work on this in case you forget your charger. other than this all the features are awesome the icecool technology is worth praise.

Great product to buy . PLS BUY IT if interested. The ice cool is wonderful. And the battery backup , proccessor , RAM , HDD all are the best. No cons at all

Had been using this laptop for basic uses, and it really functions well. other than the the pros mentioned by the other review'er it also has the latest 2nd gen processor, hence making it a real value for money.
CONS- 1)keypad is little bit woobly and is not spill resistant.
2)left side of the track pad gets pretty heated up.

The product is excellent.
The delivery time from Flipkart is excellent too.

My screen got damaged within 5months of usage and it is quite clear that the cause was rough handling by courier agency.
Delicate goods like laptops containing LCD screens should obviously be handled with extra care.

When i approached the authorized dealer, I learned that the screen damage is not covered under the 1yr warranty offered.

When I asked the same dealer for the price of replacement of the screen, he told...

Good Deal

This is one of the few notebooks with the new HM65 chipset at 20k range and 15.6" screen. Most other laptops in this range have the only HM55 chipset which dont have USB3.0.

It also comes with a DVD with Win7 64-bit drivers which is great. No need to search for them and wait for download if you choose 64bit OS.

Talking to Asus customer service executives is nothing short of a mental torture. Uncooperative and unhelpful are words to describe it.

Plus the company expects the customers to maintain hardcopies of bills/invoices for the entire warranty period!?? All other companies maintain warranty through the service tags (atleast for laptops). But this company, apparently, still runs on paper!
