Superb Quality (Highly Recommeded For AudioPhiles). Audio Technica Impressed Me A Lot... These Headphones Are A Great Deal !

I Wanted To Buy Sound Monitoring Headphones In Budget Range..Being A DJ/Producer, i surveyed a lot of headphones before finally buying Audio Technica ATH SJ-11.

The Product Has An Excellent, Well Balanced Sound. Nice Bass (I Will Tell You How 2 Optimise it in a while ), Great Mids as Well As Highs. Talking About Noise Cancellation, its good. Even Though, These are supra-aural headphones (on the ear) but you dont have to increase volume too much 2 compensate for environmental noise. The Headp...

Excellent budget headphones

I liked the sound quality with medium high Bass that enables me to listen to my favorite music for hours at lower volumes without hurting my ears. The leather like material on the ear cups provide very good noise insulation. I am now able to listen to music in the local trains and be away from all unnecessary noises in the compartment. The material quality used is decent and the headphones are foldable and can fit in a small space in your bag. Wires does not entangle easily which is good. Ove...

Good headphones for the price

People who are looking for the studio quality AT professional headphones - stay away, these are for casual listening.
Pros:
- Good separation of instruments
- Very good mids and highs
- Excellent lows, feel that bass even at high volumes!
- Lightweight
- Portable
- Good noise isolation

Cons:
- Ear pads are small in size for me but manageable
- Wouldn't recommend for long hours of use

For the price, its definitely worth it. You really get that "surround-sound" feel.

Bang on the buck!

After lot of speculation and a lot of praise about this brand, I decided to extend my budget and get this headset. I gotta tell you that this is probably the best product in this range.
If you're looking for crisp sound and punchy bass, this should be your pick.If you're looking for (earburning) deep bass, this is not for you.

Pros:
-Well balanced crisp sound with sufficient and punchy bass
-Suits all genres
-Price; Must buy for audiophiles who want to save a little more money over other p...

Highly recommended

Nice headphones. Comfortable. Light weight but not shoddy quality. Pretty sturdy actually. Broke them twice and was able to join them together in no time. Volume not so high. But nice bass and clarity. I bought this for gaming purposes(CSGO) and it suits my needs. You will hear all the tiniest sounds which other headphones of mine(Sennheiser and skullcandy) definitely would have skipped. Pretty niche too.

Entry level headphone delivers much more than expected..

An entry level headphone by Audio technica which does not dissapoint on any front. i am a bit of a headphone junkie and I have quite a lot of them.I bought this to try out the Audio technica sound and they have a fan now.

The sound stage is good enough to tell where the instruments are coming from especially if you are listening to a lot of jazz like I do. The bass is good and punchy, but not overpowering. The vocals are clear and natural. The phones do a good job in passive sound isolatio...

Decent sound, beautiful design and quite well priced. Go for it!

Well, to start with, it's Audio Technica... After using it for a couple of weeks now, this is what I've figured out... The build quality is good, but not excellent... In the comfort aspect, these are a 4.5/5... The audio quality is quite good, especially the vocals... The bass is not that good, so if you're a bass lover (like me), I suggest that you look for alternatives... But, for music lovers looking for classy budget headphones, trust me, these are your best bet...

Good product

The Audio Technica ATH-SJ11 BGR headphones area good choice in the price range 1200-1700. They can fit almost anywhere, they're super portable. The green really adds on to the overall look. The bass isn't heavy but it's enough for most songs and you will feel it.It's nothing close to flat sound.
On the negative side, constant use will make your ears hurt but that's the case with almost every on-the-ear pair of headphones. The build quality is not superior so don't try throwing them around but...

For less than 1k, good buy to shut some noise from outside and listen to music as it is played!

Pro's:
1. Good price
2. Good quality of material to wear and to show (if you are the see-what-i-am-wearing types)
3. Nice balanced sound.
4. Now I am not an expert at all in noise cancellation, but maybe because of its over-the-ear design combining with the material, it does lower the outside noise.

Cons:
1. Hope you have the perfect ear flaps for it, else you will start to feel it after wearing it for 45 mins.
2. If you are using this in summer, you ears will sweat.

Sennheiser HD 202 V/S Audio Technica ATH-SJ11

This is an awesome headphone if your budget is around 1K. I own a sennheiser HD202 which is much bulky when compared to this one. Since i am not a bass addict, both are fav to me. AT gave a nice design to this one- very compact and portable, weight-less,attractive,good output. But if you want crystal clear sound and not concerned of looks then go for sennheiser !!
