Avermedia-- The Name itself we can trust.... Once again, Thanks for flipkart for quicker delivery... As i already read its technical specifications in its website, it has display of 720*576 pixels resolution.. enough for viewing tv in pc and laptops... We can also record tv channels but its file size will be quite high...

anyhow, its performance is satisfactory to me....
but dont expect HD videos and stereo sound....( from cable tv)

This is the 2nd time i am purchasing this tv tuner card. I buy 2 years go. i am happy with this product. First product died one time, got it replaced. Then it died after warranty time. Only problem i faced with this TV Turner is heating up. i have to remove the Cable TV connection from the tuner to avoid it heating up. I am not sure this is due to problem with cable signal as only some times it heat up.

The tuner card is giving an awesome performance. I brought it as I think it's not wise to carry my Laptop and TV along with. After installing, select the country and give auto-scan. It picks 90% of channels to the best clarity. Recording is also awesome.

Something I wish to know from Avermedia / Flipkart is that I've not been receiving certain channels, which the cable operators transmit in S-band. Is their a fix, or I need to alter any settings?

This product is awesome. Unlike other cheap tuners, it has excellent audio and video quality. Picture quality is same as TV. I am using is since 8 months and its working fine.

Cons:
Device gets heated up and remote wont work till the device is cooled.
Tip: Ensure sufficient ventilation around this device so that it doesnt get heated up.

I found this AverMedia VOLAR GO TV Tuner, a very nice and cost effective device. I am using this device from last week and it's working really good. We can play Analog as well as Digital TV and performance over both signal is really fine.
I am using a dish connection and playing through composite video and it's giving nice performance.
Only issue I observed is bit pixelated video because of lower resolution, but being observed from near watching. If you are watching the TV from around 2-3 fee...
