AVG Internet Security 2012 1 PC 1 Year

dear users... AVG Internet Security 2012 is an effective solution.. its effective (recommend ~88%), simple, easy to install& use.. It will work even on PCs with moderate level configuration, it will not slow down your PC, it needs lesser system resources... but it does not include much additional features compared to similar products... it does not have sandbox, parental control, boot-scan etc.. but updates are very very simple and easy.. (but with same prise better products are available..) those who have Old/low level PC can go for this...

so I recommend Kaspersky Internet Security(1), Panda Internet security(2), Comodo Internet security pro(3)...
bitdefender is very nice but needs comparatively higher system features.. the first three do their job very well without slowing down your PC..
try Comodo free internet security first. their only problem is Name.. they dont have that NAME-n-FAME..
its a great product.. they give it for free in order to promote their product.. its actually equal to any internet security...

I bought AVG Internet Security 2012 in April 2012 from Flipkart and have been using it on my laptop since then. I reckon it is able to detect the threats effectively but instead of placing them in quarantine or eliminating them outright it gives me 3 options: a) Add to exceptions: This means the threats will remain where they are but won't be re-detected, b)Go to File: And do what? God and AVG know. I tried deleting them after going to the file but they continue to exist. c)Ignore the threat: The threat will remain in its current location but the laptop won't access it. (Note: Perhaps AVG can explain how to eliminate threats at this stage).

However, if I initiate a full scan, then the threats detected are quarantined or removed completely or at least that is what the program says.

All in all, I am not sure if I am completely happy with AVG Internet security 2012.

first i want 2 tell u that its an excellent security suite,as a computer professional i have used almost each & every security suite(norton,kaspersky,bitdefender),i had performed several real time testings on each suite,but sad thing is that so called no.1 security suites failed at one r the other category(for ex:norton failed at trojan droppers,kaspersky at heuristic malwares),but AVG has stopped all these even u with out allowing to open threat files,no downfall,its impact on pc is minimal r negligible(if u opt kaspersky,it consumes huge resources & results in dramatic pc slowdown),scan speeds r fastest among all,so in each & every sphere it excelled with supremacy,so i strongly reccomend to go blindly with AVG...

I've been using AVG as many as 6 years and in this long run I've never been affected with any viruses, never been an issue of system crash or such due to this Antivirus. Thanks to AVG on which I can rely blindly.

Recently I bought this product and wow its more than anything. Earlier I did not used internet and used free versions. This new product has better functionality, even in this old machine with Pentium M processor it is superb, Even it made my machine boot faster.

But I faced an issue with that order. Actually they send me old version rather then this. But the team was supportive and they accepted my complain as soon as I placed and ordered for the replacement. And finally I could use it.

I have recently purchased a three user license of Internet Security.
I am happy with the performance of the program as it doesn't slow the PC & provides great security to the PC. Also the program installs fine on both 32 bit & 64 bit computers with no errors.

Overall it is a good buy.

The price at Flip-kart is also great that helped me choose the best in my little budget.
