Please read the two books mentioned before buying this one:
1.Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda
2.Babaji by M.Govindam
Only after having read these books one can contemplate/debate on the facts presented in this book. A lot of concepts/assumptions about the eternal "Babaji" has been clarified by Gurunath, the author (a living Kriya Yogsa master). Lots of anecdotes, quotes from the ancient scriptures etc. make this one an object of desires for "Scholars" or "serious seekers of spiritual knowledge.
This book is a must read for any spiritual aspirant who is interested in Kriya Yoga, and the Nath tradition and how it connects directly to Lord Shiva since time immemorial. For most newbies this book contains too much information that cannot be processed or easily grasped in one sitting. So for them, I would recommend reading these books as a precursor -
1. Autobiography of a Yogi
2. The Holy Science
There are many books out there in the 'Spiritual' section of the bookstores, but this book - deserves a shelf of its own because it simply belongs to a different league. Also this book does challenge a lot of existing notions about the concept of avatars and explains a the relationship between Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, the sages of the fire mist, the immortal naths and their roles in evolution at the planetary/cosmic level and clears the concept of the Time cycles based on the Indian calendar. A good deal has been explained about what Kundalini Yoga actually means and how transformative it can be in the evolution of one's consciousness. Some facts about 2012 have also been illuminated in a few sections which are really worthy to ponder on.
To simply read this book would mean nothing if one has not experienced anything that is beyond the ordinary analytical mind. One needs to meditate deeply on the words, the poems to truly comprehend the mystic essence of this book. I feel the book is so ahead of its times that it is actually timeless!
I hope and wish that this book reaches in the hands of those that truly deserve to read it and partake in the holy communion of the perennial spirit that flows through this book!
This a true Epitome on Goraksha Nath also known variously as Babaji. Adorned by many personal experiences He had with Babaji, this 'Book' offers flavors of the ancient Times as well as the things to come in the future. A must have for any spiritual seeker of any religion, belief or region...
I simply have no words to describe about my Sadguru Mahavatar Babaji. I would recommend the seekers to become real sincere seekers of Paramatma.
Babaji always lovingly guides and takes good care of his disciples.
He is there, he is always there and he shall always be there for all of us.
Jai Babaji !
Jai Kriya Yog !
The book reaffirms the concept of a divine entity in the form of Mahaavtar Babaji put forth earlier by Lahiri Mahashaya and subsequently by partamhanasa Yogananda!!!!!
This book comes from very deep knowledge of Kriya Yoga and the real experiences with almighty, "the lightning standing still". The book explains the lineage of Siddhas and their earlier births too. Some very interesting answers to the questions raised after Autobiography of Yogi. The very connection of Kriya Yogis with Navnath Sampradaya which still exists showing the path of ultimate salvation. A must read for the seekers of knowledge on Shiv yogis and shiv yog. Go BUY it! Thanks Gurudev, Thanks Flipkart.
I have placed an order for this book. Can't wait to read it. Thank you Yogiraj ji for bringing the ancient wisdom of the Himalayan sages to earth and making the power accessible to everyone alike!
