Dr. Sivaranjani Santosh has done MD Paediatrics from JIPMER, Pondicherry. She has excelled in her studies right from school times, and won a national essay writing competition about parent-child relationship when she was in 7th standard. Her interest in child care probably took roots at that time. She stood first in the state of Andhra Pradesh in 10 standard, CBSE. She has immense experience in dealing with common day-to-day problems of new mothers. She took a break from her career for two and half years to bring up her daughter, as she believes firmly that parents need to devote themselves completely to their children, especially in the early years. In the meantime, she wrote this book to guide mothers to bring up their children in the best possible way. She is now consultant paediatrician at Apollo hospitals, Hyderabad.
