Bad 25th Anniversary Edition (Deluxe Edition 3 CD + 1 DVD) (Music, Audio CD) Price: Rs.2499

This Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition includes three CDs, two collectible booklets, and features the first ever authorized DVD release of a concert from the record breaking BAD tour.

DVD - Michael Jackson's legendary July 16, 1988 concert at Wembley Stadium in London. This DVD is not a compilation of performances, but rather one complete show, exactly as Michael performed it for Prince Charles, Princess Diana and the 72,000 fans who were in the audience for that night's sold out show. The DVD was sourced from Michael Jackson's personal VHS copy of the performance as shown on the JumboTrons during the concert. This footage was only recently unearthed and is the only known copy of the show to exist. The visuals have been restored and the audio quality enhanced so that fans can share in the excitement of that famous night.

CD1 - The original re-mastered album.

CD2 - A CD containing previously unreleased material recorded in Michael's personal studio at Hayvenhurst. This material includes early demo versions of songs from the album as well as demos for songs not included on the final album. All of this material is being released as it was recorded during the BAD sessions. Nothing has been added or changed. In addition, this CD also includes new remixes from internationally renowned DJ/producers.

CD3 - A CD showcasing the audio from the sound truck recordings of the July 16th Wembley performance. The first-ever live Michael Jackson CD to be released, this is the only concert from the BAD Tour known to exist on multitracks.

This magnificent 3 CD/1 DVD box also includes two extensive booklets with yet unseen photos from the recording sessions, video sets and the concert tour, the original BAD cover art, a two-sided poster and more.

On July 20, 1987 Michael released the first single 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You' which gave people a first glimps Bad. The single reached #1 on Hot 100 charts. Finally on August 31, 1987 Bad was released. The album was a big hit and sold 5,00,000 copies in U.K. in just 5 days of release. The album debuted on #1 on Hot 200 charts on September 26, 1987. Then the second single 'Bad' was released on Spetember 7, 1987 which to topped the Hot 100 charts with #1 ranking. Michael Kicked off Bad World Tour in Tokyo, Japan on September 12, 1987. 14 concerts were performed in Japan in Tokyo, Yokohama, Hyogo and osaka. Michael broke all records and was given the nickname 'Typhoon Michael' by the Japanese Public.
The concert from Yokohama, Japan performed on September 26, 1987 was televised in many countries and is probably the only full concert available from the Bad World Tour on the internet. Stevie Wonder joined Michael in Brisbane to perform 'Bad'. Amature audio is avaiable on internet. In 1988 Michael changed the set list and revamped the World Tour for it's second leg. The second leg of the Bad world tour debuted in Kansas City, U.S.A. on February 23, 1988. After touring 12 cities in U.S.A. and smashing all records, the Tour went to Europe where it was most anticiapted. Meanwhile 3 more singles were released; 'The Way You Make Me Feel', 'Man In The Mirror' and 'Dirty Diana', all three of'em shot to #1 Hot 100 charts making Michael Jackson the first artist ever to generate five #1 singles from one album! The tour debuted in Rome on May 23, 1988. The tour was #1 in the world and ever single concert was sold out! Michael went through Europe breaking records in France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy etc. But the highlight of the tour was when he reached U.K. and performed 7 sold out concerts in London's Wembley Stadium to 5,04,000 people! The first concert was performed on July 14, 1988 followed by four more on July 15, 16, 22 & 23, 1988. Two more concerts were performed on August 26 and 27, 1988 bringing the total to seven. It was reported that over 2 million people tried get the tickets and Michael could have performed 22 more sold out concerts!! The concert on July 16, 1988 was also attended by Princess Diana and Prince Charles. The tour concluded it's European Leg in Leeds, U.K. with an attendence of more that 1,25,000 people! The tour again went to U.S.A. where Michael performed in seven more cites. After that (because the second leg wasn't performed in Japan) nine concerts were perfomed in Tokyo's newly built stadium Tokyo Dome in December, 1988. The Bad World Tour was finally taken to Los Angeles for it's final performances. The last five concerts were performed from January 16 to January 27, 1989. The concert was the biggest with nearly 4.5 million (44,92,000) people attending it and the highest grossing at that time with $125 million ($250 million; inflation adjusted for 2012)!
Meanwhile the rest five singles 'Another Part Of Me', 'Smooth Criminal', 'Leave Me Alone', 'Liberian Girl', 'Speed Demon' were also released which did excellent on charts. A duet between Stevie Wonder and Michael 'Just Good Friends' was also part of the original album but wasn't released as a single. Michael was awarded the Tag of 'King Of Pop' in 1989 by Elizabeth Taylor and his Fans! The album has till now sold more than 50 million copies worldwide and is the second biggest selling album of all time behind Thriller. The time between 1986-1990 is many times referred to as the 'Bad Era' becuase of the impact the album made in the music industry and all over the world. By the release of it's 25th Anniversary Edition, we've got a chance to experience the 'Bad Era' once again after 25 years!
