This Bajaj GX 12 comes with 3 jars that are meant for liquidizing, multi-purpose grinding and chutney grinding. The liquidizing jar can also undertake the blending function. The capacity of the liquidizing, multi-purpose grinding and chutney grinding jar is 1.5 litres, 1 litre and 0.4 litres, respectively.
The blades and jars of this Bajaj mixer-grinder are crafted out of high grade stainless steel for added durability. This appliance comes with a speed control knob to shift gradually from lower to higher speeds.
Safety features
Certain precautionary measures should be considered while handing this mixer grinder to avoid accidents. Avoid using the appliance if you notice damage in any of its components. The grinder should be plugged-in only after you fix the jar to the main unit and finish rotating the coupler.The fool-proof Locking system in this Bajaj mixer-grinder requires you to hold the coupler inside the jar and rotate it in an anti-clockwise direction till the blades are securely locked. Avoid by all means
After a bad experience with Philips HL7610 which malfunctioned fresh out of the box and had to be returned to Flipkart, I ordered Bajaj GX 12 assuming that this one would not disappoint as I have a Bajaj Iron and a cooler which I have been using since last 2 years without any complaints.
Delivery was fine, packaging was good apart from the issue that the extra three blades were not included in the package and I had to report the same to Flipkart.
In three days the drive coupling on the unit (not the jar) came off loose and I had a mixie that could only make a grinding noise and not practically do any grinding.
When I checked the drive coupling on the unit, I found that it was connected to the motor by way of nothing but a square groove underneath. It means that the entire power of the 550W motor was transferred to the blades inside the jar by a square groove on the coupling!
So, if the blade got stuck with something, or if the grinding gets tough the entire strain will be borne by the walls of a square groove on a flimsy fibre coupling.
Reported the issue again to Flipkart and they agreed to take the unit back.
My final verdict on the model is:
The blades and the drive couplings are miserably poor to handle the power from a 550 W motor. So just don't go for it.

Nice product and worth buying
Its a good product to buy..i researched on the net for the best buy and i found it on flipkart and i really trust this website and its product with services.
its more than 6 months now and i dont have any problem on this grinder and its heavy duty as well at this price..even bajaj products are good.
i even recommended my friends for this model.
