Bajaj KTX 11 1.2 L SS Electric Kettle

Gave a 4 star for the following reasons:

Pros:
1. I can easily boil Maggii for as long as the water evaporates in some 10 mins and have a cup of well boiled strong tea if we keep the lid open, cuz the auto cut-off sensor works only with the lid closed, which shuts it off in a couple of minutes.
2. Can boil water above 1.2 L mark in 6.30 mins
3. Lowest comsumption 1300W (1200W written in 1.7 L Variant is actually 2000W, a mistake by flipkart)
4. Portable, light weight and small in size (which is why I didnt purchase the large 1.7 L Variant)

Cons:
1. The water level indicator is a small straw like thing which sometimes gathers stuff from tea and maggii. The only way to clean it is to keep hot water full upto neck in the kettle over night.
2. The spout has a coarse filter unlike other bajaj kettles which are having a very fine filter for tea leaves.

Overall a Recommended product. Happy to have purchased it!!

PROS:
1.Packing & Delivery: Excellent
2.Product: Brand new; recently manufactured(possibly in China); includes kettle & separate charging base with attached cord (of around quarter-meter length); looks smart; matt-finish metal body; CONCEALED heating element.
3.Performance: Boils 1 ltr. water within 7 minutes !

CONS:
1.Power-cord should have been of better quality;
2.Power switch on the handle of kettle does not cut-off power supply if put off after water is heated to warm/ hot temperature. The water keeps on heating till it reaches ebullition. Auto shuts off only after attaining boiling temperature.
3.Better build quality is expected from a Bajaj product, the plastic parts in particular.

Purchased this kettle to quickly heat up some water for making tea or for warm water gargling. It does its job pretty well. The vessel size is appropriate. The water heating rate is appropriate. I was keen on selecting the suitable rating for this electric kettle as I do not have 15 Amps plug in my bedroom. 1300W implies 5-6 Amps and hence went with this. Takes around a minutes to heat up to 2 glasses of water, which perfectly suits my purpose. Has a stainless steel body which makes it easier to clean and maintain. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

The product is worth the money

Pros :

1. Heats water without delay and auto shutoff is good
2. Stainless steel and finish is quite good.

Cons :
1. Cannot heat anything other than water ( didnt try so far)
2. There is a bit of tin or metal smell for a while but goes away after a few cycles of heating
3. The metal exterior gets quite a hot so handle with care !!

Rest assured product is good and from packaging to delivery Flipkart is the BEST

It's a good deal ... and a must have specailly for those who can travel with a bit of luggage! and hostelites/bachelors.

This one has a very simple and effective design. It would be difficult to burn hands on this while pouring out the water ;)

One thing.. The actual kettle design is a little different from what is shown in the picture currently.. Infact the actual thing is even better.. has a gauge which shows the amount of water and easy lock for the lid and an on off switch set up very ergonomically!
